“Americans must learn to adjust to a lower standard of living.”
Did Trump really say this at that rally last night?

not surprisingly, Trump was expecting a quid pro quo for his pardon. Something totally normal to admit.

Trump blasted Cuellar for “Such a lack of LOYALTY,” suggesting the Republican president might have expected the clemency to bolster the GOP’s narrow House majority heading into the 2026 midterm elections.
“Such a lack of LOYALTY, something that Texas Voters, and Henry’s daughters, will not like. Oh’ well, next time, no more Mr. Nice guy!” Trump said.
i know this is an unpopular opinion.. but Christmas Vacation. i find it tedious and so unfunny.
before i get bombarded, i consider Vacation a classic and a top 3 comedy of the 80s.
There was always going to be a degree of danger (whether the GOP recognized that or not). In order to create more GOP friendly districts, they had to gerrymandered a lot more of them even more tightly; making the margin for a win smaller than before.
So something like a 5 point swing statewide could give narrow margins wins to the Dems in districts the GOP was counting on threading the needle.
ie: their predictive math might be off. So, you know, expect a big push for voter suppression by the GOP if the worm turns this upcoming summer.
In regards to Aggy at DKR, i feel like we got Aggy lite.
i was prepared to be super annoyed by them; but they were much fewer, less vocal, less obnoxious, and downright sedate.
(which is really weird, since they came into the game 11-0)
