  1. Who is going to Levitation? My wife is 90% not interested in going so I'm debating a few options by myself: > Tonight - Free concert at Far Out Lounge tonight with Superfonicos, Como Los Movies, etc. > Tonight - Nitzer Ebb... LOL. I wish. They go on at 12:30 AM at Elysium > Tonight - Black Angels show at Stubb's. Timing sucks. One of these days I'll finally see them live > Tomorrow - Arc De Soleil - Midlife at Empire (depends on if we go to a game at House Park and I might scram early) > Sunday - Queen Serene, Annabelle Chairlegs, Color Green - pretty interested in this one. Downside is the opener (which I really like) starts at 10:30 PM. Maybe just stay for 2 of 3. Anyone else?
  2. My brother said his neighborhood's covenants are similar although I think they list quite a few people who cannot live on their street
  3. They're the opener for King Gizzard and the Lizzard Wizard But I digress First thing... someone mentioned RFK signs. RFK is a big dipshit. You know who is a bigger dipshit? The family three streets over with a Stein campaign sign. Second, we know LDS voters may play an important hand in deciding NV and AZ. A Mormon friend of mine shared the article below... I thought it was actually well-written and it feels like Mormon Gen-Z and Millenials are going to push things towards Kamala: https://theapotheosisnarrative.wordpress.com/2024/10/29/the-latter-day-saint-case-for-kamala-harris/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2uzBuIrctoZwOgWzfp0V95J6IL2Ll0RARvDqHFFwNfhTJ81YP0ZKoGAcw_aem_GURUZT0TeYLuh5ZRD0N8Ig

  8. Friend of mine from high school is a Mormon and he added me to a message group of mostly LDS people focused on canvassing and voting for Trump. Good group of people. Here's what one of them just posted today... "LDS for Harris crew said that in 2016 Utah county (where BYU is) was 80/20 Rep. In 2020 it was closer to 70/30, in 2024 it is closer to 50/50. Utah still won't go blue - but praying that the mormons turn up HUGELY to vote Harris in Arizona/Nevada - at least 1 of those needs to go blue...preferrably both."
  9. Dear, I'll miss the absurd traffic in the bucolic countryside of Del Valle and Wyldwood
  10. Of course... we're socialist Kamala voters that live in a Communist Socialist Fascist transgender commune dedicated to books on drag shows
  11. "Austin is bad and scary! Move out and live in the country with like-minded folk and avoid the homeless camps of Austin!" - pretty sure the GOP platform
  12. And we now might own ear candles
  13. Its dumping... I'm super excited about our spring trip but I always question when we don't book a trip to Crested Butte
  14. Wife went to Wheatsville Co-Op on S. Lamar. Said it was 15 minutes.
  15. If there's one thing I dislike about the project is going from the exposed cliff look on 360 to the artificial look with concrete cladding
  16. "Lakeway PD said there’s no known threat to the public, but condemned the violent actions."

  19. I appreciate the businesses that fly their flags proudly so I can avoid them
  20. You know... why are we not talking about the fact that the audience that laughed at the "floating island of garbage" joke literally lives on a floating island of garbage?
  21. Take it with a boulder of salt...
  22. He should hold onto all of it. One day Harlan Crow will want to add it to his collection.
  23. My guess is green gets bountiful rain, yellow gets enough to offer hope without reviving any of the dead yards of Austin (exception: Westlake and Tarrytown) and red... you know.
  24. I really really hope Taos cooperates by New Year's
