Ski Season 2024/2025
Yeah they got everyone out just a few days before. They knew something was up. Not sure what happened to Belalp higher up. It is/was (?) a car-free village above treeline with a lift that has views of the Aletsch Glacier. Different glacier. Longest in Europe.

Upstairs... I think the area is normally used for a sports simulator which is why you see golf clubs in the picture I think I'll go back to catch the National Band of Texas at Rio Market later in the month:

Ski Season 2024/2025
Back in 2019 I took the family skiing in Saas-Fee. While there I was looking at other ski mountains to visit since I like trying as many mountains as I can. One of them was Belalp, about 50 minutes from Saas-Fee. Well, if you heard of Batten being wiped out by the glacier and landslide... that was Belalp. https://www.powderhounds.com/Europe/Switzerland/Belalp.aspx

This was a fun show. First three bands are about as new as you can get. Each a little different but lots of talent. ChiCon Mal was really interesting. Vocals fine but the guitar playing was excellent... Only $5

Keep dumping rain on the lakes. I am very pro this. Maybe a cell stalls and just keeps pouring over the Pedernales? LOL, right...- 2025 Hurricane Thread

Yeah, that was a racket... should have told him to F off. Did he get his money? “While I realize that no artwork lasts indefinitely, the original hope was that Moments would be maintained and kept in good repair for many years,” Trominski wrote in a letter to the city this year in support of removing the installation due to its deteriorating condition. “This and general site conditions have created an ongoing less-than-ideal situation for the original concept.” The artist has asked that no part of the piece be reused, except for recycling. He also asked to witness any demolition and that he get to keep one of the blue panels. “He would prefer that it not be up if it’s not going to sort of be what it was intended in the beginning,” said Wick, the collection manager for Moments.- What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
Yeah, so, uh where is that art today?- Moving to London
At least he's not moving to Glasgow- Mary Lou Retton not doing well
I would doubt it- 2025 Thread of the Rains
Totally... I hate watching the rains just pooooour in areas like Lampasas and Round Rock knowing not a lick of it will go in the lakes. On a side note, is the Pedernales the most worthless tributary to the highland lakes? Oh... look at all that rain! "Here's your 120 cfs"- What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
I just hope Liberty Hill has something to say... As Evil Mopac said, Liberty Hill is for people who find Leander too woke!- What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?

Well damn, Central Park doesn't have a cricket field or ample parking. OSP > Central Park. Plus, on a clear day you can squint and see Dell.- What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
What nostalgia. I was there this weekend... and last weekend. Zilker and the surrounding area kicks ass on so many levels. I don't have any issues unless you mean the feeling I get on my first dive into BSP #shrinkage. Yeah, I go to OSP occasionally too for soccer tournaments. The soccer fields are nice, especially for the kids when they play on 130 degree turf in August. But otherwise, its a big park in the middle of a suburb. I will agree with @jimmyjazz its hard to beat the views of Taco Bell or CVS when coming in on 79. Reminds me of Old Austin.- What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?

Sandy Creek still flowing nicely. Water making its way down the Llano and Pedernales slowly rising at Hammett's Crossing. - 2025 Thread of the Rains
