  1. Sorry but the more ex-Trumpers we can get on the side against Trump, the better. Bolton, Kelly, all of them...
  2. What kind of PT are you doing? Stick with it - keep working out year round which to build out the muscles that support your joints. That's been a big piece for me and my knees. Japow would be awesome... honestly, anything in Japan is awesome. I bet the yen will be friendly to you.
  3. New 2024/2025 lifts in North America https://www.skiresort.info/ski-lifts/new-ski-lifts/north-america/
  4. Oh yeah... Snowmass. Looks like it has great vertical and I imagine you can explore and find some great terrain.
  5. Pictures from the one day at Serre Chevalier... massive and mostly unknown outside the country. That's fine. Forgot to mention the actual lift price... six day pass including those other resorts (others are pretty massive too) is about 315 Euro or 50 Euro a day Costs for guiding through ESF to go to La Grave including transportation and lift pass... Really want to ski Ajax and Highlands - never been there.
  6. Time to start talking about next season... I'm really hoping I can get more days in this year. May be able to get creative since one of my sons now seems to be able to follow me on "some" challenging terrain. Makes me very happy to be honest. Really want to try to hit up Taos again. Just him and I. Drive up, get a few days in, drive back. Anyway, I pulled the trigger on two tickets to Geneva with miles. I now just need to time buying two more tickets with $. Still... buying two with miles probably saves us $2000 - $2400. I was leaning towards going back to Chamonix but I'm 70/30 on going back to Serre Chevalier. We only skied it one day in March of 2023 and I really liked what I saw. So much terrain, so much freeskiing to be found and the guides there are amazing. We have a hotel booked for now in Monetier Les Bains on the far end of Serre Chevalier. We'll see if we stick with it. Why there? - Expansive terrain - 60 lifts spread across the whole valley and all interconnected - Snowsure terrain - 80% above 2000 meters and some say the tree skiing below is some of the best in Europe - Mentioned it before... French guides and instructors are great and prices are reasonable - Briancon is a killer town... at the other end of the valley. I'm sure we'll hit up a few times - Six day pass allows you to go over to Italy and ski the Via Lattea, Deux Alpes or Puy St. Vincent. Will most likely make a day trip to one of those - AND... very likely that one day I will put my son in freestyle lessons for the day while I get a guide and go over to La Grave. My guide in 2023 suggested going there together one day and I ended up not doing it. Regretted it afterwards. Anyway... 7. You can totally tell in the morning... at least mornings feel a little less brutal... well, except this week will change everything
  8. Seems like a perfect opener for Amyl Made a last-minute decision to see Fitz and the Tantrums and O.A.R. last night... bought tickets for my wife and I. Not often I can convince her to go to a show on a "school night" Fitz put on a great show - high energy, sound perfect live and just all around good vibes. I will be very honest that I have very little O.A.R knowledge... honestly the kind of band I would change if I heard them on SiriusXM. Went in with an open mind. Meh... I don't get it.
  9. Can you take that to the Properly Sealed Nautical thread, please?
  10. Don't forget Italian film star Terence Hill
  11. "But they don't live in flood zones and didn't flood with Florence"
  12. All wrong Every one of you Don't call it a comeback, I been here for years I'm rocking my peers, putting suckas in fear Making the tears rain down like a monsoon Listen to the bass go boom Explosions, overpowering Over the competition, I'm towering Wrecking shop when I drop These lyrics that'll make you call the cops Don't you dare stare, you better move Don't ever compare Me to the rest that'll all get sliced and diced Competition's paying the price
  13. I copied and pasted OMG I reread this. Very consistent for you.
  14. sure sure. I'll take Simone. Guess which one is which (does not include 2024)? BTW, did you not realize I posted Chris Kattan? Which is which?
  15. Kerri is a little burly but I guess some people are into that...
  16. Be better https://www.kxan.com/news/texas/texas-deputy-ag-apologizes-to-simone-biles-after-calling-her-childish-selfish/ https://fedsoc.org/contributors/aaron-reitz
  17. Do we really know that's Greg Abbott? Some people say there are doubts.
  18. Just be happy you're not going to Aruba... otherwise you definitely would be screwed. @BearSchlong better to battle for that insurance money (a - early bird/claim gets the worm and b - squeaky wheel gets the grease... trust me) than to beg for FEMA scraps BTW, not saying flood insurance is cheap... in fact 4x more than before sucks buuuuut...
  19. If you squint ,that 45 kind of looks like something else... what could it be, what could it be. Also, someone help me figure out why a Puerto Rican would vote for someone who treated them like he did.
  20. j/k you know its like rooting against the Yankees or Tiger Woods or anyone else who dominates a sport.
  21. RE: chainsaw, y'all just need to ignore him and not respond. Otherwise...
  22. Let me put it this way... 2015 Memorial Day storm dumped 11" on my neighborhood... 5" in an hour. Our back drains understandably couldn't handle the water so some started coming in the weep holes. Our back kitchen area was polished concrete so we just sat there and push broomed the water out the garage door. Got the water out, mopped up and let it dry and cleaned the floor. It was a stressful night. I said, "F that!? I don't want to stress about it anymore" and got flood insurnace. Fast forward to 2017... my (since that night) sump pump kept water out of the house without any problems... pumped 70 gpm out to the street even in flood waters. Water was not coming in from the back like 2015. Come Tuesday they opened the floodgates on Barker Dam. So, water came in all of our houses. Sump pump can't drain an entire part of Houston. I'll still remember watching everyone muck out their houses. None of us were in a flood plain so of all the houses I could visually see, no one around us had flood insurance. Yeah... its an extra expense but... I watched that MF'er start to fill up... the water breach was less than a block from us. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1665598153513500
  23. Bill... you've got Irish and English ancestry but you were born in the US? Which one are you??? You have to pick one. Oh... https://www.businessinsider.com/irish-mock-bill-oreilly-for-saying-heritage-excludes-him-from-white-privilege-2018-7
