  1. I personally would never do it. It's like decaf coffee... what's the point?
  2. He subtracts estimated gas savings from the "starts at" price? Dude... that's hilarious.
  3. Bob Cole has a head start on screwing up names
  4. Friday, Saturday, 220, 221... Whatever it takes
  5. Happy Friday! Was out on the Town Lake Trail and sometimes it's good to cleanse the grumpiness around here by seeing Daniel out at the Texas Rowing Center... From 2017... https://www.kvue.com/article/news/local/he-lifts-you-up-ymca-greeter-inspires-many-despite-challenges/269-477079995
  6. Man, great show last night with Je'Texas. Dylan Bishop Is so incredibly talented. We stayed until midnight and then had to split. But the funny thing about the show is they didn't play a single song off of the album they released last year. Mostly played new original material that Dylan released last year and some covers but it was all so good.
  7. Waiting. I owe @stc a beer
  8. This is going to sound really crazy but guess who said the following quote? (hint hint... his words are in red) "13 But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”
  9. Dude... why are you here? I mean this seriously... I think you be a lot more comfortable hanging out on Texags, Truth Social or maybe some FB Community group in Jasper or Orange. Y'all can talk about prepping, sovereign citizen issues and avoiding dirty hippies.
  10. Deep East Texas real estate market still too hot?
  11. I'm not an expert but I can't imagine that's the case... for Houston, is there such a thing as an aquifer? Doesn't all that flow into the bayou and into the Gulf? For Austin, I don't know but sure seems exceedingly wasteful and not all of Austin is in the recharge zone. I live in the recharge zone for the Edwards aquifer but not applicable to all. If I'm reading this correctly... https://tceq.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=2e5afa3ba8144c30a49d3dc1ab49edcd I think that yellow section goes into the Colorado river and downstream...
  12. You must get really nervous when you drive into central Houston... what with all the weird people and different nationalities and such.
  13. Was curious after looking at those numbers and looked up Houston. Here's what they listed in August 2023... Along with the 30 billion gallons of water lost in 2022, the city lost another 9 billion gallons from January to April 2023, according to the latest data. Some months, Houston lost of over 20 percent of its total water supply
  14. Uh, what? We have a keeper in the family...
