  1. @jkates I appreciate that you continue to be a preeminent coward, negging me without the balls to respond to any specific post. Just like in the youth minister pervert thread where you can’t respond to any specific stance but insist the guy who helped covered up sexual assailant and manufactured a coup against the democratic council of his church is “a great man.” You’re a special level of gutless coward, it’s no wonder you suck off the likes of Geoff Ketchum and any authority figure like the sad child you are…
  2. Was the expert responsible for sending out alerts to central Texas in case of severe weather events, with 32 years of experience, who retired specifically ahead of noaa budget cuts, news? Can we talk about how that may have impacted this?
  3. So all threads in the daily Texan should be only news from reputable sources? What about condolences? Expressing sadness and frustration? Grief? What about extrapolating into the future based on news? Because none of that is news either, and yet it’s rampant in this and every other thread and the only things people want to regulate are all of the above, but ONLY when they tie directly to political decisions.
  4. Oh. You’re back. Yaaaaay… He retired early specific to the cuts. The cuts that were made by entirely political decisions, influencing one man’s 32 years of experience in his job issuing warnings to the central Texas region of Texas. You’re saying this isn’t political? Because if you say it isn’t, then me commenting that these political decisions potentially killed a bunch of kids isn’t Political, and doesn’t belong in the Cloak Room. Because I’m commenting on the News.
  5. I’m so sorry man. This is horrible. I’m so sorry. Whoa whoa whoa, isn’t this political @immamac?
  6. You shouldn’t believe it, because it’s bullshit. That would make him the highest or close to highest assistant on a roster where we already have a qb coach. 2 qb coaches, honestly.
  7. Except you posted it with certainly, implied the real issue here was a dam failure and “look how close the dam is to the cabins,” again with certainty, then tried to crab walk and hem and haw about it after your pants got pulled down. Like you’re doing now. Instead of admitting you fucking made it the fuck up. and by the way, if there was a dam failure, it makes the illustration of human negligence even more bare. Because they would have had plenty of time before a dam failure to warn every fucking camp on the river directly. So you can add another place where negligence could have taken place.
  8. People here are supposed to believe anything you post now?
  9. I love how you show up to chastise emotional posters here for not giving you information, but you don’t extend that expectation to your elected officials who spend the 30 minutes of a press conference giving no information. I’ve lived through Harvey, which had a new press conference every few hours. I guess my experience with emergency press conferences differs from yours, since apparently your’s all start with a 30 minute dick sucking session and providing zero information about things like missing or dead citizens.
  10. I’ve seen this twice now in your posts, please stop ending them with “the lakes better fill up.” It’s fucking crass, akin to human sacrifice. Fucking stop it, please. How do I know no one was monitoring, or they didn’t have a plan, or there was negligence? Because a fuck ton of fucking little girls are dead, motherfucker. Either they didn’t have a plan, they didn’t have someone monitoring, or the person monitoring was negligent and fell asleep or fucked off to do whatever. Because the people sounding alarms were consistent from 12 hours before and got increasingly urgent through the night and finally issued a warning that could have gotten girls out of cabins before they woke up “by water at their chins.” The kids aren’t woken up by the water itself unless, somewhere, there is fucking negligence. The proof is the dead children.
  11. That doesn’t sound like an outlier since another storm did similar within the last 10 years. It sounds like the way these things are reported on is the problem. Maybe if reporters led with “potential lake filling event” people would pa more attention. we can’t keep saying 1000 year storm events when they happen every few years.
  12. That’s not entirely true. Several posters here have referenced the SA who nailed Friday also saying Saturday would come back with a vengeance. Some folks are getting it right.
  13. So without any knowledge of Kerr county and its elected officials, the judge sounds like a real fucking piece of shit.
  14. I mean, he is an expert at buying 26 dollar fake gold chains on amazon and allegedly cleaning up pussy in the valley. So in a way, he is an expert on salary caps. Just, you know, from the bottom side.
