  1. The FilmGuy guy his start as a Georgia 995er, so...He's from Georiga, went to a small college in Georgia, and worked for a GA based sports website for awhile. He's fine to watch, but at the same time, the guy is also a biased fan.
  2. A degree doesn't need to be critical to remember things from conversations folks have with each other. Does one need a degree to remember that my neighbor has 2 kids? Does one need a degree to remember Thursday is trash day? You know, it's almost like behavior is demonstrating intelligence here.
  3. I find it weird that you have conversations with people, assuming you haven't also HIRED people, and can't/don't remember important facts in their life, like where they matriculated. I also love the nice little attempt at a dig there, like I or anyone else doesn't actually work in a results driven field. Outside of government and general bureaucracy, I'd argue that most fucking fields are results driven.
  4. Unfortunately, Slorch, we know. We all know. As for the degree, I dunno, I can draw a direct line from the University of Texas to exactly where I am in life, starting with using the UT job board for new graduates to land my first real job, to the people (other UT alum) I met at that job, to their businesses I've invested in, to my business they've invested in, which has allowed me to provide for my family and have a pretty good life. And that doesn't include the shared joy of UT sports as a great complimentary aspect of my life. I would say the degree I have, and specifically where it came from, made almost all the fucks. The only thing my degree hasn't facilitated is meeting my wife at a bar.
  5. I don’t care if there’s zero construction and 8 lanes in each direction existing, it’ll still suck.
  6. I really appreciate the publisher's innate understanding of the target audience. "PICTURES INSIDE GUYS"
  7. I can find a hundred posters who feel the same way about you, without breaking a sweat, Slorch. You've had to change handles and then come back and get outed for your obvious behavior.
  8. I appreciate every reminder I see that Toby Keith is fucking dead.
  9. So basically it’s a microcosm of the rest of America? hopefully they haven’t found a way to ruin sports gambling and Pieros.
  10. That tree in the forefront looks cool AF.
  11. OP should by this place. Outskirts of the Denver area. You'd need to build a new house or invest heavily in a renovation, but 22 acres of land with those views as well as river access, backing up to a national forest, is a good deal. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/24676-River-Meadow-Dr-Buffalo-Creek-CO-80425/295313986_zpid
  12. Driving Between Houston and Dallas - Don't Do It.
  13. Eh, I think he's pretty accurate in that statement: https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/texas/2024/gamelog/ UT's Rushing in the following games against "better" opponents: GA 1: 27 for 29 yards, average 1.1 GA 2: 28 for 31 for, average 1.1 Arizona St: 30 for 53, average 1.8 Ohio State: 29 for 58, average 2.0 "Good" teams we ran the fuck over: Clemson, Michigan, OU, Texas A&M. Except we all know those were not all that fucking great.
  14. Gimme Cruz at center and shuffle the rest around accordingly.
  15. Did you just call his wife an It? Brutal man.
  16. Based on the color of those blue jeans maybe 1984.
  17. Just a general heads up, boys, prepare your anus or maybe take the afternoon off. The child is back on the amphetamines again.
  18. I'd kill most of you if Manning's throwing motion resembled the ear level release of the 3rd photo. Gonna keep my tits nice and agitated, thank you.
  19. You think they like you now?
  20. They’re 100% using it to bully. We’ve operated without issue for 5+ years. There are competitors that aren’t being targeted. But we wouldn’t agree to their contract terms to do business with them in this state, and they threw a fit and all of a sudden they’re threatening trademark litigation.
  21. Sure there are other ways to present it…but we do a lot of business online. Which means search terms in google are a big deal. You work to rank for those terms so you show up, because that’s what people type to find what we offer. We don’t decide what people search for to find services, we can just do our best to make our pages relevant for those search terms. Their behavior is the equivalent of saying we can’t write content for Best Houston Hamburgers. Your suggestion is akin to saying we try really hard to advertise for Houston Ground Beef Sandwiches. But no one searches for that so we won’t get any customers, if that makes sense.
  22. They do have a federal trademark. But it is also a generic term.
  23. Well, it matters. It basically removed our ability to advertise on the internet entirely. There’s a lot of nuance.
