  1. This is a bad take. The national popular vote wasn't that close, but it was literally 80k votes in 3-4 states that made the difference. IT WAS A FUCKING CLOSE AS FUCK ELECTORAL COLLEGE RACE. And the electoral college is how we elect a president. Your view is like the opposite side of the coin of Trump saying "I got tens of millions of votes in California and New York, they love me there." No they fucking don't. And we know 2020 wasn't a walkoff race.
  2. I have a slightly different take than David, above, although his position certainly has merit, particularly IF it turns out to be true in hindsight, like 2022 midterms. I think it feels so much worse becuase: a) Trump is so obviously more deranged, angrier, and the implications of project 2025 are so much heavier. We knew he'd do horrible shit in 2021, but now we know just how fucked up and horrible it will be, it's spelled out. b.) All the polls in 2020 were in Biden's favor, and while we knew the stakes are high, we had all the polls telling us he was going to cruise to a 5-7 point victory nationally. So basically, we thought we looked pretty good. The polls this time tell an entirely different story, to David's point above. But between the stakes and the fact it doesn't feel like we're up by a touchdown or 10 points, it's a lot of fucking weight to bear.
  3. I don't really agree with this, but even if it's true, it looked like it might have pissed off a lot of Hispanic voters.
  4. Why don't you just buy the meat at the meat market on Friday instead of today? Or saturday morning? Meat Markets in my neck of the woods (houston) generally open anywhere from 5 to 8 am, even on weekends. also, I seriously doubt meat markets are throwing away meat that's been marinated 24 hours too long, so if you've bought meat market food before and it's been fine I wouldn't overthink it.
  5. That’s a fun way to try and make a normal interview sound controversial. And by fun I mean “weak fucking sauce.”
  6. If listening to hannity’s radio show and your reaction is anything other than rage, much less laughter, I think you might need to see a shrink.
  7. What debate or event was that?
  8. Who is that kid, becuase he's gold. There's so many ways he could have gone with that. "If a state voted by majority that raping women should be legal, you'd be ok with it?" Her premise is so stupid, becuase "Everyone in a state wants it" is such a stupid position because NO statewide initiative would ever have 100% approval of everyone in the state. Hell, making it legal to rape women in CA or anywhere else would probably only be like 90/10 against, and I'm probably being generous.
  9. The best part about this clip is that it's obvious from the start that is a smart guy, and he's not voting for Trump, and he showed up to ask a question he knew Trump would fuck up for the rest of the audience so they'd see what a racist dipshit he is...
  10. I'd like to see the data on this shit, or at least some cross tabs, because while I buy it might be high, I have a hard time thinking it's higher than trans or gay communities in general. tell @texasdago, not me.
  11. If he loans his campaign money he can pay himself interest on his own loan.
  12. I'm sure it costs less than the gas to drive to LA, much less the value of your time.
  13. I mean, if they were Baptists statistically at least one of them was probably fucking or trying to fuck a minor. /ducks
  14. Let me inform you of his real strategy, which was probably a success. Ted knows that no one looking to be persuaded, or who could be persuaded, watched that debate. WHich is why he had his smarmy smile on the whole time, well, other than the fact he might not be able to turn it off. Anyway, Ted recorded some soundbites of him soudning awesome, and probably some editing of Allred saying shit he'll twist entirely, and he's going to use it to make online ads and campaign commercials that will convince idiots that he won. Done.
  15. I believe you're looking for a small ward named Sela.
  16. First, I can't answer your question. I'm 45 years old, soon at least. I just don't understand why people give a fuck, or who even thinks this shit is important. I mean, isn't this mostly boomers? MOSTLY? Maybe you should ask the olds. The closest I can come is that weaponizing religion for power fucked up everyone's brains. Second, I don't think that motherfucker knows the difference between transgender and transvestite.
  17. Glad you noticed this. Also, before I start, I noticed Fox doing some nice editing there. "How will you make groceries more affordable?" "Well, I gave you guys the biggest tax cut in History." He basically said "I already fixed your problem, fuck you." And either no one noticed, or pretended not to notice. You already gave us that tax cut, motherfucker, and it wasn't repealed or expired under Biden, and groceries are still fucking expensive. SO WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW?
  18. I'm so glad he made. And as is with many folks at this age, in this situation, I fully expect that he won't make it to see election day. He might not make it to next week. But at least he'll have peace.
  19. Listen, as long as you're doing the work, I mean, feel free to give us a line graph of the different polls and how they've moved in the past few weeks.
  20. I don't want to call a POS when there is a healthy chunk of misinformation that has just poisoned the brains of people. Smart people. I do think the POS quotient is high, but there's a healthy chunk of "Flat out stupid AF" and "poisoned by misnformation and our failed media system." Big chunks. I also think him throwing his words back at him is a good tactic, but he'll just respond with "and then I watched this weaponized justice department do it's work."
  21. What a fucking boatload of malarky...I don't even know where to start. A man talking about the rule of law in favor of a guy who gassed peaceful protestors for a photo-op...a man talking the rule of law for someone who has said he'll suspend the laws to be a dictator on day one. A man talking about the rule of law who sent a mob at the capital when an election didn't go his way. A man who demonstably attempted to send fake electors. A twice impeached president with audio of a phone call demanding the GA secretary of state to find him 11k votes. The rule of law for a man who said legal citizens aren't legal citizens becuase they are also immigrants. The rule of law for a man who is endorsed by project 2025. The rule of law for a man who didn't approve FEMA payments for a state that didn't bend the knee. I don't even know where to start.
  22. I couldn't spill a drink on him as I was walking into our section when I saw him, so I hadn't been able to get a drink yet. He was also standing in a corner, away from me. It would have beend hard. I also had my son with me. I did glare, however.
  23. So he didn't say he knew that Trump was evil. That's an important distinction. If it truly is finanical, send 20 clips of trump not being able to answer ANY direct question. Ukraine. Health Plan. Whatever. Start with the economic forum yesterday. @Pancho and @Thatguy would like a word with you, and they demand to see your math.
  24. I don't think he has a standing offer from University leadership. If he did he wouldn't be in my section. He'd be on the sidelines with Abbott or whatever box Hartzell watches the games from. He's invited by someone with tickets in our section. I don't know who the fuck that is, but I remember where his seats are...and where his secret service agents posted. I mentioned elsewhere I saw Paxton in our section for Miss St . Someone gave him tickets, but he was wandering around by himself most of the first half where I saw him, alone and without people. Fuck that cross-eyed fuck.
  25. She'd suck dick for kickbacks. She's shown every other aspect of her worldview to be completely open to purchase already. I'm not sure why you think her alleged sexual preferences would be any different.
