  1. @Texasborn91 I'm still waiting for an answer to my very simple question.
  2. That's not the question I asked you at all. I asked you THIS question: Would you be so good as to answer that very simple and direct question(s)?
  3. To be fair they want to take away EVERYONE's healthcare, not just yours.
  4. Were you as reasonable and equanimious during covid when there was years of supply chain issues and worldwide inflation, of which America had the lowest inflation in the world comparatively? Or did Biden fuck up our economy?
  5. I think she works the more of the Super Star Destroyer like venues.
  6. Don't miss the hallway under the bed to the "cockpit."
  7. The cultists? No. I agree. The people who "hate politics" or are "independant" or have sleepwalked through this becuase they can't be bothered. They'll wake up. The 20 million less people that voted this election than the last...they'll realize
  8. I see you've met Brisket for the first time. Enjoy. Im planning on trying to teach my son this lesson as he ages. Everyone is the hero of their own story. Very few people are sitting in a back room thinking "How can I hurt as many people as possible" I'm not saying there aren't plenty of those people, but that is not what a majority of fucks ruining this country are doing. More likely, it's what I want to make my son understand so he can embrace empathy: Everyone is the hero of their own story. We're all little snowflakes who struggle to understand that people around us have feelings to, that they're also scared, also threatned, also hurting. Becuase frankly, being Me takes up damn near 100% of my time/thought. Does Tim Dunn do what he's doing because he's evil, and wants people to hurt? More likely, he believes the rotten shit in his brain is truly in the best interests of America, and he's a hero that's trying to so what's best for God and Country and Community. I bet Hitler really thought the Jews were evil. And I'm not saying these people aren't evil, but propoganda works and all the guardrails about human decency and community are gone. Education and critital thinking are gone. Misinformation is rampant and everywhere thanks to the internet. So people can believe what they want to believe, and, well, we are all the hero's in our own story.
  9. I also agree that will happen. But some will see the truth. But it'll be too late anyway.
  10. Fuck her. She realizes she's been lied to, and still she has to interject "I don't want to make this political." She still can't fucking let the talking point go, even as she talks about how POLITICIANS LIED AND USED her and her people. Can it get any more political? Get her into the Daily Texan forum, she belongs.
  11. You're not going to find anyone here who supports, them, or can make a case to support them. 1) No one is asking those questions. Because if they do they'll get primaried. 2) Ill answer this below 3) It does no good, but they're brainwashed into pulling the R lever because liberals are evil. 4) See point 1. Lets look at point #2, which I think will make everything else make sense. Public schools have things they have to teach. And more importantly, things they CAN'T teach, specifically religion. But also, soon, things like slavery will be off the table. Science...man, that can often get in the way of believing in Jesus. Exposure to ethnic diversity, different people, critical thinking...that shit isn't helping anyone in their view of religion. If you want to teach your kids that the law of the Bible should rule the land, and that not all people or religions are created equal, the only places to indoctrinate that line of thought all day every day is in a private school or in a home school. And if you have christian nationalist views and tendencies, and you believe that the only future of this country is one run by Christian (white) men, an increasing minority, well, you're going to have to make some drastic changes to what people believe, and how they're made to believe it. Pushing more kids to religious education while shattering the education of a majority of people in a state, well, that's a great way to kill two birds with one stone, imo.
  12. I think a lot of people will realize the error of their ways, and that all this shit is bad. The real question is, will there be anything left to do about it?
  13. At this point, I can't even blame democrats. They can't fix a broken culture/species/country with a daily press conference. All they can do is draw attention to themselves and get put in a camp sooner. I understand that deer in a headlights feeling. Do I liquidate my entire life savings and take my family out of here, without a job or hope of work, or do I stay here, powerless, and hope somehow shit remains intact and functional and my family can have a good life? It's scary shit.
  14. That's not fair man. She gets way wetter than that.
  15. Remeber the poster, I won't link him, but I think it was HellesBeer? He raised money, and went to Ukraine to deliver aid/supplies, but was also a full throated Trumper? When asked how he could support Trump when it was known he'd let Ukraine rot, he simply said "Trump's position on Ukraine isn't clear yet, but that would be really unfortunate." I wonder what lies that guy is telling himself right now. They won't know shit. They're too dumb intuit why you'rs asking, and they'll have already come to the conclusion that YOU are the traitor. They won't think shit about themselves, except maybe to remember where you live so they can come for you when it's time to turn in our neighbors.
  16. Not necessarily. While yes, it's a choice that is made, the nature of how all funding from the state is tied to test scores (which has already fucked up how we educate our children), might made re-doing this shit every year more of a necessity than you might think. More now when there is even less public money to go around to schools, they'd better hit those test scores. Forther ruining our curriculum, and around we go... I can tell you from my own experience that many of the laws mandating the teacher/student ratio are already being ingored in many places.
  17. Yea, my first thought was "uh, what about the cost of child care those days?" Parents going to get slaughtered. There's not even a camp ecosytem for well off parents to absorb that kind of thing. But I guess there will be...some business will open to fill that gap for a price.
  18. Explain this to me like I'm 5. If our economy crashes, how is any bond note worth a shit? PM me the name of a good attorney, plz.
  19. I guess this goes here:
  20. Doesnt matter. The idiots read the initial headline or chryon and now it's fact that people 200 years dead were getting checks. It's now a fact. They won't question how those people were cashing those checks, since they died before checking accounts existed, but whatever.
  21. You mean project 2025 overtly discussing disbanding the VA wasnt enough of a hint he didn't GAF about Vets? Calling them suckers and losers? This is my shocked face.
  22. It will be more than an extra 10k. Right now, most private school tuitoin in Houston is 36k a year. So they need to find 25k. And that is IF private schools don't raise tuition, as Lukring says below:
  23. It's not a burger joint, per se, but this place fucks, and all of the food Ive had is good and cheap AF: Located in houston, off beltway 8 near West Little York. IT's also a fucking tremendous dive bar, the kind which we're seeing less and less of these days: https://www.hotdogshop.net/menu Go there, people.
  24. Are you ok? Do we need to call someone? You’ve claimed to quote your first post and then paraphrase multiple posts while fucking up all the tenses. Does it smell like burnt feathers or do you just think BillFromLakeTravis is a smart poster? Press 1 if you’ve been Ryan day’d. Gosh who don’t you have in your Rolodex? The 80’s oilers o’line, gideons, the Rothschilds.
