  1. I don’t really understand this. I live just east of Katy and while things are wild and supplies are somewhat low, you can still find basically anything you need. Sure a couple things may be gone, but if you check a couple stores (CVS, dollar stores, etc) you can get anything. I’ve yet to have to drive more than 5 minutes from my house to get anything I need.
  2. They need to figure it out or just shut it down. More misleading than anything at the moment. Come back in a few days/weeks when it can support tens of millions of views
  3. So where can we get accurate up to date comprehensive numbers? Seems like the Johns Hopkins thing is busted
  4. Number hasn’t changed in hours for me.... yesterday it updated like every 1-2 hours Supposedly over 130,000 and they are still at 127k
  5. What on earth is Johns Hopkins doing? Their model isn’t working and now needs a login
  6. I understand exponential growth and the argument for this becoming a total disaster is the theory that we can’t do what China and South Korea did. I don’t necessarily disagree, but the numbers in China and South Korea were tiny. Even if it’s 10x worse here it’s not that big of a deal in the grand scheme. I’m somewhere in the middle on this.
  7. I understand. Usually I have a decent idea where a storyline is going, but have no clue here.
  8. Perhaps I’m just misinformed but it sure seems the panic is totally out of proportion to the reality Every place this thing has spiked has seemingly been able to get it under control in a week or two. There is yet to be a place where cases and conditions are just totally collapsing.... China figured it out, SKorea did it, Italy is starting to get there. Germany and France will as well. At the end of the day, what is a couple thousand cases to SKorea, Italy, Germany and France? It’s nothing. Even if we hit 100k here that’s minimal. I’m having a hard time reconciling the actual numbers to the panic. This type of panic I’d expect the numbers to be in the millions by now and certainly not curtailing so quickly in highly affected areas. I think relative precaution and some cancellations makes sense, self quarantines, etc. I just don’t see the real threat

  10. So I guess I’m just lost... I have no clue where the Saul bowling ball thing is going. Also no clue why Mike ended up in some place in Mexico(?) And yes, Mike is definitely reminding me of De Niro at this point. It’s a little silly
  11. Over levered like the rest. I don’t disagree they are better off than most shale shitcos
  12. Explain.... Hilcorp has plenty of its own issues
  13. Lol they weren’t going to make it at $45, hardly at $50. They are fucking sunk. The petroleum engineers were painfully wrong and the finance side levered up
  14. Im in E&P banking.... it’s going to be a total bloodbath in spring BBRD. We’ve released our pricing twice in the past month, and are working on another one today apparently. We have ~10% of e&p in workout currently and will have probably 60-70% in workout after spring BBRD. Only question is whether they let people go or decide the e&p business isn’t worth it and cut us off entirely. 2014-2015 we didn’t reduce staff.
  15. Yeah I would be in agreement that it was one season too long for us to get to Saul, but this season has been perfection so far
  16. I thought it was good, not great. I figured something would happen with SJ but the moment still got me
  17. Great movie. Solid A. Craig and Armas were awesome, especially Craig
  18. The language stuff wasn’t that interesting to me, but it’s probably a top 15 or top 10 movie for me. I loved how they marketed the movie as an alien movie when it was anything but that. That was just the setting. Also hit close to home at the time as we had just found our pregnant with our first child. My wife cried really really hard
  19. Yeah great recap. I thought it was a solid B+ on first viewing and an easy A on second viewing
  20. Watched it for a second time and loved it even more. By far my favorite Tarantino movie... Leo and Pitt had one of the better relationships I’ve seen in a movie. Actually made me buy in.
  21. Yep Federer has had the easiest draw I think I’ve ever seen to get into a GS semifinal. I think #41 is the best ranking he’s played at this point
  22. Yeah this was a movie about mental illness, not the Joker.
