  1. Seems like Moonrise is the most controversial by far.
  2. Hah knew it would be unpopular. Never enjoyed Rushmore that much.
  3. 1. Budapest Hotel. A masterpiece IMO and the only Anderson movie that has historical relevance (WW2/ Nazis) 2. Zissou. Movie gets me 3. Tenebaums 4. Fantastic Fox 5. Moonrise 6. Bottle Rocket 7. Darjeeling 8. isle dogs 9. Rushmore
  4. Yep. It’s a good thing we are about to be in the North American season.
  5. Can’t wait. The Grand Budapest Hotel was pretty close to perfection for me, so I’m curious how this turns out. Read that it has some Steve Zissou vibes which makes me pretty excited. Easily his most underrated film
  6. It’s funny how much better the Wandavison duo and Loki/Morbius are than Falcon and WS. I guess that’s the difference between Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Hiddleston, OW and whoever plays Falcon and WS
  7. Yeh and it’s not even “surging”. I’d skip too, it’s pretty meaningless for tennis in big picture. Why put yourself through a couple weeks of nonsense?
  8. 31 and thinks it’s a masterpiece. In my top 5.
  9. Shapo being a bitch about losing the second set
  10. He frustrates me to no end. He should easily be the #1 next gen guy, been saying it for years, incredible talent. But for whatever reason he believes he’s a 6’11” serve-bot that must hit a winner as quickly as possible. He should be a blend of Federer’s attacking game and Nadal’s lefty defense/offense. He’s 6’0” and can move, no need to play offense on every single shot. I get that he has the power to be an offensive player and doesn’t want to run around the court all match, but he’s got to find that middle ground. Seems like he’s taken a nice step forward here. Federer got demolished. Yikes
  11. Federer’s draw is such a cupcake. Kind of bizarre. Now he’s going to get the only men’s player without a day of rest (Medvedev or Hurkacz) on Wednesday.
  12. Great slate of men’s matches today
  13. Korda beats Evan’s. Big win. Shapo whipping Murray. I think 90% of Shapo second serves hit the service line… margin of error is insane
  14. Terrible slate of matches today.
  15. The courts are a disaster. I’ve seen multiple slips. Federer got lucky Thank God Serena is out
  16. Korda will be top 20 here shortly… curious to see if he jumps Sinner. Wimbledon and the rain delays whip me.
  17. Yes please. Hate the umps, the game isn’t about them
  18. So will they finish the game? Or is the no hitter gone?
  19. Tsitsipas game is by far the cleanest. But bottom line is that Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are able to hit the ball with above average pace and not miss at a rate that is absolutely unreal and has never been seen before. Not to mention they’ve all forced themselves to be great at all parts of the game. They mentioned a few times how Djokovic spent the last year spending a hugely disproportionate amount of time working on his drop shot… most important point of the match, down set point in set 3 and he pulls it out perfectly
  20. I feel like POS as a human is a stretch…. Unless I’m missing some serious off court issues. I can’t begin to compare him to a Tiger Woods who was the biggest asshole on the course, outside the course, was a habitual cheater, and was fucked up a few months ago when he crashed his car double the speed limit.
  21. I don’t think it’s debatable anymore. But I’ve felt the past two years it was inevitable he would end up as the GOAT. Now he has most weeks at #1, two wins at RG over Nadal, winning record over both and likely steamrolling to another GS. And he’s the youngest of them. I’m guessing he ends at 23-25 GS, Nadal at 21 or 22 and Federer at 21
  22. Why the hate for Djoker? He’s certainly my least favorite of the big three, but clearly the best. I feel his antics aren’t nearly Serena level…
  23. Which post was that? Is that a good or bad thing?
