  1. VZ says it's the same as our US plan. We'll see. That would be ideal, obviously. I know in Europe they throttle after like 1.5gb per day (24 hours) or something relatively low if you are streaming.
  2. Verizon int’l plans suck. They charge the same $10/day as others but they throttle data after so much usage per day. It’s one of the few areas where At&t’s unlimited int’l data plans are vastly superior. Canada might be different, however. Maybe it’s the same as the states.
  3. Waitress brought the dinner check. Dropped my card. “I’m sorry sir, we don’t take American Express.”
  4. PCR is 100% not required. I’ve come back twice from Europe in the last two months. Rapids worked fine both times.
  5. I’m just trying to get Fat Kelly off my fucking feed.
  6. Even better, they’ll just give you the test to take in your room and you show the results to the concierge, who then procures the form you’ll need to show the airline. Or, find a pharmacie nearby, and just walk in and get results in 15-20 mins. Last option is to take a special CDC-approved at-home test with you, where you can video conference with a person who watches you swab and do the test and then emails the form needed. We did the same Abbott test as usual in Italy but the video conference option added like $20 or $30 to the cost per test at purchase.
  7. I’m unbelievable at spelling last names. Give me a last name.
  8. Just didn't hit me the same way, lol.
  9. When they were on the sailboat and Mav was struggling, I really wanted Penny to echo Demi Moore with a line like "Jesus Christ, you're in the Navy, Maverick!"
  10. Well, I think I can say, barring some unforeseen incident, that you will have a very bright future here at E.D. Granmont.
  11. Talk about weird! I’ve been banging this married chick lately, she was saying she had been in several car crashes recently, and then was having problems at home too. Man, sorry to hear you are going through something similar. At least it’s nothing worse, right?
  12. I don’t understand…how did you know where the mess hall was if it’s not in this book?
  13. Who buys an umbrella anyways? You can get them for free in the coffee shop in the metal can.

  18. Did the woman on cocaine cheer you on near the top of the hill, under all the bridges, around the end of mile 1?
  19. Good one? It’s a Commando 8.
  20. Boarding the flight to Nice tomorrow...looks like I picked the wrong week to stop drinking.
  21. Fuck all the politicians and absent/negligent parents right in the ass. TL/DR, it all makes me so ragey. The 2nd Amendment is such a smokescreen. We've been a nation of guns for all of our nearly 250 years of history, and this absolute bullshit we are seeing now has careened out of control in the last 25-30 years in particular. What has changed? Well, let's start with technology and culture. Mental illness? Other counties deal with mental illness. Why do we allow ours access to guns and ammo? Mandatory waiting periods, better background checks, etc...why aren't we checking social media profiles, and medical records? The raw data and technology (neuro modeling & AI) is there to analyze, quickly, for the vast majority of the population. Not THAT hard of a change to implement at scale with a few billion $$. Political parties blaming other political parties? Perhaps the absolute pinnacle of hypocrisy. Both parties have spent years in power over the last 25-30 years, no real ATTEMPTS at change. Just confirms what our current politicians say is bullshit. Vote them out. Allow private sales of guns? Get the fuck out of here...we're not allowed to buy a house without going through proper channels...yet we let meth heads buy and sell guns? For Cash? Again, easy fix. Make it stop. Parental liability. It's been said in recent posts. How are we holding parents accountable for letting their kids get access to these things? Ignorance and/or negligence isn't an excuse. Gotta be 25-years old to rent a car? Should have to be at least that old to buy a gun. We fucking make people who want to use certain RADIOS pass tests before they are allowed to buy them...but not guns. Muh gun lobby? Again, grow some balls and GTFO. Investments in schools and structure of public schools? Why do shootings so disproportionately occur at public schools? National averages are like 90% goto public and 10% private but the ratios for shootings are far more likely to occur at public schools. Is the DOE analyzing the effects of growing class sizes? What are the effects of certain curriculums? What are the effects on younger adults and children from media coverage and availability of social media? Again, what has changed over the last 25 years? I could go on so much more.
