  1. Lewis and Merc are such whiny bitches. They fucked up their pit strategies, twice, and it cost them both the race and the championship.
  2. Well that would explain Little Jerry’s poor egg production.
  3. Do you think you could get a ticket for my friend Brody?
  4. I just saw an obit today that said the real Assman died recently. RIP, Lou Cutell.
  5. Was paying bills this month and I see a random $60 charge from Apple for an app purchase I didn't recognize. Ask my wife if she knows and she says "oh yeah, I forgot to cancel a trial for this sleep app I downloaded that tells me how well I sleep at night." She then goes on to say it "listens" at night and tells her how much she snores, talks, or even farts. Unless I'm passed out drunk I don't snore or talk but I've wondered how it knows the difference between her or me. On farting, however, is that the kind of thing she can use against me in court should we ever get divorced? I've had a lot of deviled eggs today so it's on my mind.
  6. I've never seen a guy get picked up by his testicles before.
  7. One of the greatest scenes in film history.
  8. That’s true.
  9. +1.5 Buffalo to tie late in 4th quarter. From 55 yards out. Then you see McNulty is the kicker.
  10. Fuckin hell. I’m digging up The Wire gifs to pull out for this McNulty.
  11. I know one thing, if I'm able to get back to Rome in 2023 for the Ryder Cup I'll be taking 2/3 of a day and going down to Nettuno to visit the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. Have any of you gotten the chance to go there?
  12. I get the hate for Naples, though I liked it. It's unique compared to the rest of the country but IMO offers by far the best pizza and tomatoes you'll eat anywhere in the world. We never felt unsafe there but it's certainly dirty with lots of graffiti, etc. It's a city I feel like someone like Anthony Bourdain would have loved. I would still recommend spending a day or so there, do a half-day tour of Pompeii, have an awesome lunch and a wine tasting nearby at the Cantina del Vesuvio family-owned winery...go back to the city for an awesome dinner then train out the next morning. Do NOT drive yourself, however.
  13. The worst part of course is that she also possessed many of the other qualities prized by the superficial man.
  14. Yeah, its weird AF being a Friday night and I'm just sitting down to watch FP2 that was recorded 2-3 hours ago.
  15. Can’t believe I missed this.
  16. Coach Banks?
  17. “In what may be his last at bat as an Atlanta Brave.” Joe Buck, go fuck yourself.
  18. I’m a Braves fan but that seems like a weird thing to say.
  19. They registered Soler’s homer at 446 feet. Does that seem right?
  20. Re: Rome…if you lean Marriotts then the St. Regis is one of their premier properties in the world, and the Westin Excelsior is very nice in its own right. When I was there this past July, I also walked into the Pantheon Autograph collection and liked it but admittedly have never stayed there…it’s in a great location too. For food, have any of you ever eaten at Osteria 44? Look it up, it’s a short walk from the aforementioned St. Regis and maybe another block or two further from the Westin. The owner Sergio welcomed us each of our three visits, tossed our menus and guided us through various 4 or 5 course meals, all have been among my favorite dining experiences anywhere, much less in Rome. It’s exceptional. This goes for most of Italy IMO but I agree with whomever said go a couple blocks away from the tourist spots for the best food, at much better values too. Example around the Parthenon, we are a couple of times at a place mostly filled by locals called Enoteca Corsi. Very good. For Venice, JW is best value but as I’m sure you know requires a water taxi everywhere. Have you looked at Gritti Palace or Hotel Danieli? I can’t wait to get back to Italy, next time for a month hopefully.
  21. I need an Albies hit to win an SGP bet...so relax guys, he'll end the inning here.
  22. Well, I sure didn't see a 2-hit* shutout coming tonight...and if you say you did you are a fucking liar. Go Braves!!
  23. d'Arnaud he didn't!!
