  1. For God's sake, can someone start a Giles thread? We don't need to do this every other day, at least not here.
  2. Composite just got updated. Liebrock is now a solid four star and up to #216 in the country. Roschon and Kenyatta fell a little bit. Everyone else stayed about the same. We're still fourth overall in average recruit rating. Link: https://247sports.com/college/texas/Season/2019-Football/Commits
  3. From EJ: — Five-star IMG Academy (Fla.) running back Trey Sanders is in Dallas visiting family and told me that he is planning to make a visit to Texas in the next few days. Sanders is still very high on Texas and has a strong relationship with Texas running backs coach Stan Drayton. Sanders is also high on schools like Alabama Florida and Georgia and wants to make his decision late in the process. — There is a report out that a target committed elsewhere is making his way to campus this weekend. Yes, we know who it is but won’t disclose the name until he actually shows up in Austin. Right now, travel plans are still being worked out. The target does hold a Texas offer and is a prospect that I’m really high on. — Four-star offensive lineman Javonne Shepherd expressed his displeasure with recruiting media today after numerous reports about his potential visit to Texas A&M. Shepherd did not make it to College Station today, and we don’t expect him to make it tomorrow. We do, however, expect him to make it to Austin next weekend. We are continuing to heard that Texas is in a very good spot with him. — Texas has been in contact with TCU offensive line commit Andrew Coker, and there does appear to be some interest there — remember, Texas offered Coker during the spring evaluation period. Coker has reshaped his body this offseason and is a very intriguing prospect. Odds the committed target is one of Demani or Leal? Agreed that if it's Caldwell it wouldn't be under the wraps, unless he's planning a flip today.
  4. Case in point; it was an irrelevant game.
  5. Actually, the final was 59-0. 45-0 at half time.
  6. Are you sure about that? It shows that he put it in for Georgia. Dean also has no CBs to A&M per his 247 page. EDIT: Goat beat me to it.
  7. I'm not sure when it was taken, but it's since Herman has been here. You can see Kertstetter at the beginning. Gary Johnson and Toneil Carter also make appearances.
  8. Noah Cain got an Ohio State CB from Demetric Warren. Seems random.
  9. SIAP: Also, Caldwell got another CB from Mike Roach. EJ and Roach almost always put in CBs in tandem, though.
  10. Parents couldn’t decide between Dennis and Dan?
  11. Yeah, he doesn't NOT score a touchdown until the 8 minute mark.
  12. Another CB in for Jake Smith, from an Arizona writer. Also, Smith's twitter background is a picture of him in DKR in a Texas jersey with "Smith" on the back.
  13. Looks like he'll OV here for the USC game: In a recent interview with 247Sports, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star athlete recruit Bru McCoyraved about his April unofficial visit to Texas. The Longhorns were already a contender coming into the visit. Tom Herman and company are one of the favorites coming out. "The Texas visit was great," McCoy's father Horace told 247Sports this week as the trip made a lasting impression. "We are just taking everything all in, in hopes of making an informed decision and not an emotional one. Texas made it compelling and special for sure. They are definitely serious about their football down there." McCoy is looking at returning to Austin for the USC game the weekend of Sept. 15. That would be an official visit. The other contenders for the 6-foot-3, 215-pound McCoy include USC, UCLA, Oklahoma, Oregon, Colorado and Washington. He'd like to take all five officials before announcing a college decision in early January. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite ranks McCoy as the nation's No. 2 athlete and No. 17 prospect overall. The 247Sports Top247 Player Rankings slots him higher, as the No. 1 athlete and No. 4 recruit in the land. McCoy could play receiver or linebacker on the next level.
  14. SIAP, but here's a recap of Bru's visit (courtesy of 247):
  15. Gotta like Nana recruiting Wilkins as if he's already committed to us.
