Texas Softball 2025 - Second to no one.
Landry is a good pitcher, but she is deadly when the ump is expanding the zone up and down. Hitters can’t be expected to protect from below the knee to cheat high. Also, someday I believe there will be an Astro like discovery with the Sooners. There is no way that year after year they are always ready for whatever the pitcher throws.

This reeks of a few years ago in Clearwater. Something is wrong in the locker room on this team. They have shut down over the last 3 weeks and there has to be a reason for that.

2025 NFL Draft
At least Majors won’t be the slowest guy on the team.

Two terrible ABs. You have got to put the ball in play there

The throw was high, but Joley should have caught it. I agree, the Sun played a factor.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
Not a bad landing spot. He is one Tua headshot away from playing time.

These girls throw every day anyway, so getting her an inning of work is no big deal.

They are terrible, we should win convincingly..... That being said, I expect a 5-4 or 6-5 game if we continue to play the way we have of late.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
That's unfortunate. When you have a chance to add a Boobie to the roster, you need to close the deal. In my opinion, there are not enough Boobies in the world.

They absolutely have state and conditioning as well as nutrition specialists. Those people can’t follow the player home or block the Taco Bell drive thru lane though. When my daughter played, there were disciplinary actions for players that missed weight or had conditioning issues. Not sure if that is ok in todays environment.

Mia Clemmer. She is a junior this year. Coahoma High is a 3A school, but they are Nationally ranked in the top 25 teams in the country.

Also, her high school teammate is a catcher and also a Texas commit

Wells is a stud. I have been pining for her arrival for a few years now. She has Reese type power at the plate and will be effective on the mound as well. I think she may get to 74-75 mph as she grows into her body. We will see how she turns out.

Some might say Mac’s issue is that she has been a little too hungry this offseason

Texas Softball 2025 - Second to no one.
She may hit her way outta the circle. I believe she has over 20 HRs this high school season already.

Texas Softball 2025 - Second to no one.
I won’t be shocked to see a whole new staff behind Kavan next season. Mac and Simpson are gone. Cit will be bumped to 3-4 via the portal and Salmon will have to find a way to stay on the team as well.

They mentioned during yesterday’s broadcast that White only planned to let Mac go 1 time through the order.

This team is absolute trash at hitting off speed junk.

Texas Softball 2025 - Second to no one.
No doubt it was absolutely intentional. It was a smart play, but it didn’t have to be that type of collision. She just needed to bump her to get the call.

Oh, there is plenty to roast Torina for, but this ain’t it. Every coach in America coaches their players to initiate that contact and try and draw an obstruction call. It is the 1B’s responsibility to get out of the baseline. Now the laughing and giggling with the coach after the fact was pure bush league. My main problem with Torina is that she has a habit of playing favorites and fosters the “mean girl” mentality on her teams. Then when the victims try and leave, she stops at nothing to run them down to other coaches. In the days before the portal, she would block all the schools in a players home state when they would try and leave. My dealings with her go back to her FIU days and she is not a good person.
