Texas Softball 2024 - Farewell to the Big 12 (and back to OKC?)
Be careful what you wish for, Rothrock is really good, and this Florida team can rake. Their offense is built much like the one at Texas. Speed throughout the order and a couple of big power bats sprinkled in. Wallace may be the best all around player in softball, and Ericksen is a great catcher and current SEC player of the year.

Don't you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby. You know damn well where she will end up if she leaves.

Yes, every AB is important, but her season ERA is less than 1. She ain’t giving the game away.

I think he wants Mac Morgan and her drop ball vs OSU.

You have to be aggressive early in the count against Canada…if she gets ahead, she is almost unhittable

Interesting….I have never seen that called before and I don’t understand the difference between a batted and thrown ball.

I said before the game that first one to 2 wins, but I wouldn’t mind an extra one.

Great defensive stamd! Now get an insurance run or two.

Maybe, but I have seen outfields trap a ball against their body and they damn sure called those catches

I have been coaching or watching this game for 20 plus years and I swear the umpiring is worse now than it was back then.

She was out and we are going to have to burn our other challenge

Canady can do that to a hitter.

Stop sign went up when the ball was fielded. Maloney ran through it.

She ran through an obvious stop sign. Not on Coach White at all.

Fucking Texas base running is going to be the death of me

Great bunt by the captain on a rise ball. Small ball ball can be a difference maker against a pitcher like Nija.

Need TK to get us 4 strong. This could be a first one to 2 runs wins.

Nice to meet you Mr Dvoracek. I heard that exact same argument on Sirius this morning. Fact is, these women need a facility dedicated to softball and Devon Park is one of the very few in the country capable of hosting. It’s not why OU wins, they win because they have had the best players and their school spends more on softball than all others. They also have a strong NIL program in place for softball. If Texas and others want to compete then they need to put their money where their mouth is.

The only way this happens is if Disney decides to add it to their Wide World of Sports park. They have the means and the property to make it happen, and the weather would be much more cooperative in Florida this time of year.
