  1. Ewers has no heart. No fucking clue what is/was going through his head this game
  2. The "oh fuck, Tucker is in" look on Zac Taylor's face said it all. Saw a debate on one of the sports news last night about Tucker's kick. One guy said it was right down the middle and the other argued it was half a yard to the right of the middle of the goal post.
  3. They are one of the best shitholes in America.
  4. I think Card is more a project QB...give him three years of coaching and he can probably become a good college QB. It didn't help that he played behind a shit OL last season and his confidence probably took a hit. The OL is better this season, still not great, and he is still gets pressure most every time he drops back to pass.
  5. It really shouldn't be a big surprise with what happened Saturday. The OL is not there yet. Ewers didn't make it six quarters behind that line before he was knocked out, Card is harassed every time he drops back and half the time the RB was met in the backfield after taking a handoff. In the 2nd half Tech showed four man, five man and six man fronts and the OL fell apart. That hit on Bijan in OT looked like Captain Insano doing a pile driver. Same with the DL. There is no Brian Orakpo/Shawn Rogers/Casey Hampton/Tony Brackens talent on campus right now. They are improved, I was impressed at times with the DT play in the interior but they rarely pressure the QB with a four man rush (zero pressure with three man rush as we all know). When we blitz they whiff on the tackle half the time when they over run the QB or he puts a little move on them. Texas doesn't have the talent ready to win the line of scrimmage on either side of the ball and the old saying goes the games are won in the trenches. Maybe they did against ULM but they will struggle in conference. The equalizer is Texas has skill players at RB & WR, and maybe TE & QB. Every game with be a 50/50 coin toss so if you are going to start crying and throwing tantrums every time Texas loses maybe you should find something else to do during games. *Statistics show TT beats Texas every 4.5 years and Texas had won the last four games, even the last two in Lubbock, so Tech was due.
  6. Damn, checking in hoping to see LG had been traded to CBS, FOX or Mountain West Conference.
  7. If it was 9 months ago I guess he was busy making the baby?
  8. "we used to hit doubles with that swing" lol
  9. That was not even close...he definitely swung
  10. Watching the story on ESPN and almost every LIV member is spouting the "we don't condone humane rights violations" but what is coming out the side of their mouths is "if the money is right I will accept human right violations, treating women as slaves and anything else". Greed is a terrible thing.
  11. What a shitty bunt attempt by Daly. Make that two attempts
  12. Anyone tried the Maker's Mark 101 yet?
  13. Judas Priest finally made the R&R HoF.
  14. That's not rare for Angel Hernandez
  15. had a little forearm in the tackle that probably would have drawn a PF. But sometimes you have to send a message.
  16. https://www.yahoo.com/news/texas-baseball-game-abruptly-suspended-073606034.html If only some of our LB's & safeties could hit like that. (maybe a little forearm involved) Texas baseball game abruptly suspended after pitcher tackles opponent on the diamond A junior college pitcher leveled an opposing hitter as he rounded the bases during a home run trot Wednesday in Texas, video of the incident showed. The game between the host Weatherford College and the North Central Texas College was suspended in the top of the sixth inning following the incident. A North Central Texas College batter had homered and just touched third base when the Weatherford pitcher blindsided him, the broadcast from TSRN Sports showed. The baserunner's helmet went flying as he was slammed to the ground. His teammates poured out of their third base dugout to pounce on the pitcher, peeling him off the home run hitter. The long ball had given the visitors a 3-2 lead before the mayhem. It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured. Weatherford College said the school is investigating. “We are shocked and disappointed at what happened in our game today,” Jeff Lightfoot, Weatherford baseball coach and assistant athletic director, said in a statement. “We do not condone this type of behavior. We have worked hard to build a program with the highest of standards," he said. "We are completely embarrassed by this incident, and we apologize to North Central Texas College and the fans of WC baseball. This type of behavior cannot be tolerated.” North Central Texas College Chancellor Brent Wallace said he hopes the "unfortunate events at Weatherford College will be used as a teaching moment for our student athletes to help ensure these incidents do not occur in the future.”
  17. I don't go out of my way to eat at Applebee's and they are so far down the list of choices that I would probably think of going home to eat before thinking "oh, wait...how about Applebee's?" I'm sure their restaurants are mostly franchised owned and only as good as the ownership/management makes them. They should even put ownership's names on the sign like "Stan's Applebee's" or "Larry's Applebee's" so we all know whether it is a "sucks really bad" location or is just a "sucks mediocre" location. What really hurt was Bennigan's shutting down locations; their Reuben sandwich and Monte Cristo sandwich were awesome. They had a happy hour and I would meet my brother in law for dinner...we ordered our Reuben, drank beer and tried to play that online trivia game until they cut us off.
  18. just f'n leave the pitching coach in kansas...
