  1. The polling‘s been 50-50 for so long that Nate Silver is writing fan fiction to keep his paid subscribers hooked. yesterday he did a deep dive into what is wrong with Kamala’s website.
  2. “throw them on the pile” is more like “throw them on the pyre”
  3. Electoral college bro. It came down to a few thousand votes in a few states 4 years ago. And 8 years ago. And most likely this year.
  4. Sounds like some bullshit Judge Tim O’Hare would run with. Him and Allen West with the Dallas GOP have a weekly “who’s the biggest potato” competition.
  5. Nuri Sahin with the loseriest coaching decision of all time today. Dortmund up 2-0 at halftime against Real Madrid (no one sent off for either team). He subs on a centerback for an attacker to start the second half and they proceed to lose 5-2.
  6. 538 gave Trump a 1-3 chance in 2016 which was wayyyyyy better than every other model. 1 in 3 chances win all the time. Just watch college football this Saturday.
  7. use code “Couponcause” for 20% off your first month at BetterHelp
  8. Lettuce hands got Olimpico’d by Pulisic
  9. Monty Bennett was a billionaire. Now he’s a broke, fucking loser.
  10. I’m going to drop MJH for Andrews.
  11. ridiculous coaching decision. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
  12. 1 more catch MJH, for 0 yards. That’s fine.
  13. He’s still on waivers. I’ve been rolling with Kraft. I need anything out of MJH the rest of the game and I’ll win. Plugged him in ahead of Pickens yesterday afternoon. #idiot
  14. I think the point was if he was leading how crypto bros, betting markets and right wing polling showed he would be playing offense (PA, MI, WI) instead of defense (NC). regardless, it’s a very close race.
  15. Same location during 2020 had it in the rec gym. This year it was in about a 20x20 room. Stupid.
  16. WI-MI-PA-NE2 gets you to 270. PA is the hardest of those to win.
  17. 7-7 is next week Dallas County Early Voting
  18. Voted in East Dallas this morning. Took about 25 minutes but the line was getting longer when I left. The room was too small for how big of a geographic/population area this precinct covers during early voting.
  19. That is some terrible goal keeping
  20. I did a financial plan recently for a single woman (no heirs) in her mid 50’s that had ~40% of her net worth in her home equity. If she wanted to age in place vs downsize/move to assisted living; a reverse mortgage could make a ton of sense.
