  1. I mean, it's not like they have anything to add about what's happening on the court.
  2. SL Xpress, don't you have a copypasta explaining this, yet?
  3. I'm sure there's a sports bar somewhere in Detroit with LHN.
  4. I can only imagine that he thinks we're going to goaltend them to victory.
  5. It's more successful than overthrowing it deep to a coasting Worthy.
  6. I mean, that's literally the offense after the other team makes adjustments.
  7. He's great strategically and terrible tactically. Once adjustments are made by the other team, I suspect the constraint that keeps the bread and butter offense running is supposed to be the play action deep ball to Worthy, which isn't working. Sark probably doesn't understand why it doesn't, though, since "just throw it deep against the Texas defense" works about 95% of the time in practice.
  8. I'm sure we do. The grass has barely caught a KSU pass all night.
  9. I'm pretty sure that immamac can change your handle to "BitterOldPlayer", if you want.
  10. I'm pretty sure Ole Miss cut the home team locker room A/C, though.
  11. I believe Jimbo referred to Kiffin as a clown previously.
  12. I recently got back into mead making after an extended hiatus, and honey has gotten much more expensive, especially with shipping. Any of you beekeepers in the DFW area?
  13. Either The Quest for El Dorado or The Quest for El Dorado: The Golden Temples - the second is a standalone expansion. Other recommendations: Gods Love Dinosaurs, Bärenpark, MicroMacro: Crime City – Full House, or one of the Dice Throne sets.
  14. Agree, especially with the added trifold grill. Great for kayak/car camping.
  15. Those would work. Your might also consider a co-op, like Forbidden Island. My recommendation would be Race for El Dorado, though. It's easy to learn, and it introduces deck building mechanics. And it's fun, even for experienced hobby gamers.
  16. I absolutely find value in commentators and reviewers who provide takes and commentary that don't align with my own. I can think of a number of folks who have preferences pretty much diametrically opposed to my own, but whose insight I find valuable, even if I disagree with it. You think Texas will suck this year and Beard is overrated? I'm here to hear your reasoned argument. Maybe you'll convince me. "Chris Beard fucked my girlfriend in college, and Shaka Smart once made eyes at me from across the court and later told me I was handsome so it was clearly the players' fault and not the coach" isn't valuable critique: it's just noise, and it's gotten pretty fucking pathetic at this point. There's plenty to criticize about Beard, but I think most people's problems with BWG's articles is that they don't read like they're written in good faith. He had an opinion, then went looking for facts - but also "facts" - to support it. You can argue that he's just a pessimist, but I can't read that as anything as other than professional courtesy or unfamiliarity with his oeuvre. Did you miss his takes on Marquette and Texas last year? I'm pretty sure people have met BWG, but if you told me that he was actually Shaka Smart in a dipshit blogger/podcaster suit, I'd believe you.
  17. You sound like a fucking moron, and you'd probably be more comfortable on TexAgs.
  18. Obviously Ewers has a significantly higher ceiling than Card. But you think Card could have somehow done worse in the second half? Instead of pacing back and forth on the sidelines looking like he needed to take a shit, maybe Sark could have tried, you know, literally fucking anything when it became clear Plan A wasn't working. Even great players can have an off game. It's on the coach to adjust when that happens.
