Or no gauge at all, think he just felt of the pit.
It was discarded after being used to stab some poor bastard who asked how hot he runs the pits

Thread got me thinking about the 4 hour lunch we had at Criollo in Oaxaca in 2017. 8 courses with mezcal flowing. Everything was spectacular, from the setting, to the food, to the service.

sucks about Willow. Mrs. Laz and I were just there on Saturday gorging ourselves and it was mighty fine. That said, it is telling that we live nearby but I've been to PC, Buck's, Pinkerton's, Feges more times over the last year by an order of magnitude

The brisket at Feges in Greenway was awesome last week. Their sauce is bizarre and awful. I think they make the sauces so bad that people will try their BBQ without the sauce. Feges brisket just needs a little salt and pepper and blow your hair back. Their chicken is amazing too. I suggest ordering a whole bird.
I will cut you for your blasphemy against the Texas Gold

You know, that's interesting and a good point. I've never read a Tom Clancy book, but in Hunt for Red October and Clear and Present Danger (the movies), Jack Ryan is presented as an office/desk guy who has to get into some shit that is way over his head.
he's just an analyst. Haven't you heard?

What’s the “nitro tap” part of the drink? I know certain beers have the nitrogen gas but not sure how you would incorporate that into a mixed drink.
It is possible the cocktail is pre-mixed in bulk, and then delivered to the glass via nitro tap

Thank you! No, she lives in Oklahoma(I know...), but we were so happy with the care that my dad received at MD Anderson, that there was no other place my sister and brother in law considered for her. Honestly, I've been so amazed by her through this whole process. She's been so brave and positive. She's moving right along with her plans for college in the fall and not even considering the possibility that it's going to beat her. It's amazing how going through these things can bring so much inspiration with the pain.
definitely have them reach out to ASCF. They have housing near the medical center available, as well as cancer navigators. Missy Bellinger Trent, the Exec. Director, knows MD Anderson better than anyone. They are a wonderful organization. I am happy to help with an introduction off-line

Five years ago my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died last January at the age of 58. Two weeks ago my 18 year old niece was having headaches and a tumor was found on her MRI. Earlier this week she had a tumor removed at MD Anderson and it was diagnosed as glioblastoma. So while she's getting ready for her senior prom and graduation she'll be going through radiation treatments and chemo. Yesterday my mother in law was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
So yeah, fuck cancer.
man, this is terrible. Sorry to hear. Is your niece local to Houston? www.cancerfamilies.org is a good resource here

I have a Crepe Myrtle and a Vitex (Chaste) tree planted in front of my house.
Both trees have gotten too tall for where they are planted close to the house. Wife wants me to trim them shorter.
I know a lot of folks top their Crepe Myrtles, but I also read a lot of spots online that recommend against the practice.
(I don't know if the Vitex can be topped like a CM).
Am I best off removing them completely and replacing with shorter varieties, or is it "ok" to top them off at the height I want?
the crepe myrtle can be topped. They're very hard to kill. It's less than ideal to do so, but if you're plan is to top it, and then work the new growth going forward, it won't present the same issues as repetitive crepe murder year after year. When we bought our house in 06, there was a crepe in the front that had been allowed to grow more or less straight up for 20 feet. I cut it back to about 4 feet. It's now back to about 20, but I've been pruning and shaping every year since, and it's really filled out nicely. No idea on vitex

I will just throw whatever earthworms I find while I'm doing other gardening into the compost pile. I've always been hesitant about buying worms because they'll be red wigglers, and I don't know about introducing them into the system.
Other than that, sounds like you've got it handled.

I imagine the Uber line and surge charges will be insane. $1.25 each way for the train.
este. Uber on the way there shouldn't be more of a hassle than any other outing, with more traffic. Uber on the way out would be a beating - designated p/u location, 1000 people trying at once, etc. Train will be a shitshow, but it's a short ride. Another tip: if the northbound line is too bananas, you can get on the train southbound and stay on. It's only one stop south before the train comes back north

I thought a tripod was the way to go?
Just ask people on the street to take your picture and hand them your unlocked phone. Tripod too cumbersome

As has been noted, ZaZa is the closest nice hotel to the stadium, and is convenient to the train. You may be a little crowded going southbound, depending on the time. You will definitely be packed in when leaving, but you will appreciate that ZaZa is only about three or four stops from the stadium going. MF Sushi is nearby and is extraordinary.
