  1. aurier is trash.
  2. as pointed out in the first video @Captain Ron posted, spurs have been lacking a true holding central mid since dembele started declining in 2017. wanyama was supposed to be that guy but was always hurt. sissoko was supposed to be that guy but gets trigger happy. winks was supposed to be that guy but isn't athletic enough (and is always hurt). maybe n'dombele will be that guy eventually, but until then spurs will continue to expose their central defenders and struggle with play through the middle in the current preferred tactical formation.
  3. when poch rolls out a formation/lineup that isn't shit for trying to break down sides that park the bus it will be his first.
  4. I have no idea about Mourinho but I know that he wasn't the problem at mu and every interview I've seen since then he comes off as not an asshole mou is an asshole.
  5. i think he is already one foot out the door. bring on brendan rogers.
  6. aurier has always been a reckless player. here are his defensive highlights from the season before spurs signed him. see if you can count the number of tackles where he doesn't go to ground:
  7. suck that bevo dick bitch.
  8. certainly no more inconsistent than trying to play sanchez there. with KWP the only other true right back on the roster there has to be more to it than inconsistent play.
  9. in terms of the match, the draw is disappointing considering how things started but i'll take it considering how things went after halftime. sanchez was lost out there today, which makes me wonder what aurier has done to get so crossways with poch. if the goal was 8 feet wider and 10 feet taller sissoko would be the PL's leading scorer. how did xhaka make it to 90+ before getting a card? and for that matter, there were quite a few arsenal players that could/should have been booked had martin been consistent with how he booked spurs players. here's hoping the closing of the european window and the international break will allow them time to get their minds right and make a run in sept/oct.
  10. which one of you is the dude with the jersey tucked into jorts?
  11. make up call for last week. in other news, spurs still can’t break down lower tier teams with 10 behind the ball.
  12. with the exception of trips, none of the guys you're talking about contributed much last season. the core of the team is still in place and they've upgraded at need positions across the board. it's what you have to do to compete domestically and in europe. edit - right back is still a glaring need area but it's questionable if we lost much with trips leaving.
  13. these guys aren't going anywhere this season.
  14. probably because most of us stopped reading when you stated lambert's is better than snow's.
  15. goals from shots on target: city - 20% spurs 100% advantage: spurs.
  16. fify.
  17. your avatar thinks you chose poorly.
  18. él marca goles cuando él quiere.
  19. don't forget this guy:
  20. tottenham hotspur is my recommendation also. but it's never "hotspurs" or "the spurs". just spurs.
  21. it's like this thread doesn't even exist.
