  1. with the exception of trips, none of the guys you're talking about contributed much last season. the core of the team is still in place and they've upgraded at need positions across the board. it's what you have to do to compete domestically and in europe. edit - right back is still a glaring need area but it's questionable if we lost much with trips leaving.
  2. these guys aren't going anywhere this season.
  3. probably because most of us stopped reading when you stated lambert's is better than snow's.
  4. goals from shots on target: city - 20% spurs 100% advantage: spurs.
  5. your avatar thinks you chose poorly.
  6. tottenham hotspur is my recommendation also. but it's never "hotspurs" or "the spurs". just spurs.
  7. not a good idea unless you purchase a ticket in the away end.
  8. to be fair it was less poch getting outcoached than outcoaching himself. two games this season should have been enough to know that the 4-2-3-1 with kane against van dijk is not effective, particularly when kane hasn't played in two months. i get what he means to the team but he should have been brought off the bench. other than that individual performances let the team down. far too often the final touch lacked quality, crosses weren't put in well or soon enough, etc. eriksen was invisible and i hope that was trips' last game in a spurs shirt. it sucks because i don't come away from this game feeling like 'pool outclassed spurs, they just got things right when they needed to. all in all still an amazing ride this season and i hope we're lucky enough to see them back someday.
  9. you’ll get your wish in about 36 minutes.

  11. “The Londoners have not signed a player since January 2018 when they paid Paris St-Germain £23m for winger Lucas Moura. Tottenham's record signing is Davinson Sanchez - they spent £42m on Ajax's Colombia centre-back in August 2017.” so much amazingness in those two sentences.
  12. the supposed home kits for next season have leaked. simple and clean: https://www.footyheadlines.com/2018/12/nike-tottenham-19-20-home-kit.html
  13. sure spurs would want him back. but not for that fee or his current weekly wages. another winger is also not really top priority this transfer window. so no.
  14. you sure have a hard time comprehending irony.
