  1. the third is the only one i actually like. not a fan of the gradient on the home jersey and away sleeves.
  2. which part?
  3. perhaps this is planning for a potential eriksen departure at some point in the near future. i know their styles aren't apples to apples, but pulisic is good with the ball at his feet and has been good when played down the middle. otherwise you're looking at him providing depth or as a replacement for son or dele at some point.
  4. i should have said it's not showing gross spend but i got a C in accounting. either way it's probably safe to say that they outspend every other club in the world by a longshot, which i think was @MoJames tongue-in-cheek point.
  5. well, it's not really showing net spend. it's showing transfer balance (bought vs. sold) and avg league points per game since 2008-09. man city has a significantly larger transfer deficit than any other big club, so you can probably assume that they spend way more than any other club by a longshot. at a lower average season ROI over the past 10 years to boot.
  6. if you live in a city with a passport office you can go do it same-day in person yourself. you'll need to make an appointment and it's a bit more expensive than the regular renewal, but it was cheaper than the agencies. saved my ass when i didn't realize mine had lapsed until 36 hours pre-departure.
  7. agreed here. two fairly different styles IMO. they could work together, but it would likely mean kane dropping off to create space for vardy to run in behind. if southgate is going to play one up top then kane is it.
  8. sanchez as well.
  9. and yet... it's fine if you have come to terms with it or if you're now placated because welbeck was selected and you have your arsenal representation, but don't act like this and the responses that followed were all some sort of ruse and you were just having a laugh.
  10. you won't blame him, but you'll call it an insane decision and wish misery on his squad because it means your favorite player was left off? again, weird.
  11. it's fact that for the last three years he's not been fully fit. if you can't play then by default you can't be the best player on a team, regardless of skill set. it's also super weird that you were outraged and decided to not support england when you thought they did jack wrong for ego reasons, but now that it's been reported that jack is out for being jack you will still root against them.
  12. of course he is. the last time he was fully fit was three years ago, which coincidentally is around the last time that gary neville coached him. if it were 2015 you and gary might be right, but it's not so you aren't.
  13. well, this is wrong, no matter what gary neville says.
  14. from the article: "Rose blotted his copybook last August when he gave an interview in which he urged the club to sign more world-class players and made plain his frustrations at the wage structure." also from the article: "Pochettino was also seeking to mark his turf over the type of player he wants to sign. Typically Levy has preferred younger ones with resale value but Pochettino would like him to consider more seasoned professionals." semantics? because i assume when poche says "seasoned professional" he doesn't mean fernando llorente. danny shouldn't have ever given the interview the way he did, but i think his copybook is blotted moreso by his play this year and the fact that there wasn't any noticeable drop-off from him to davies than it is by him speaking a bit of truth in the press.
  15. screw you for reminding me that i'll probably never see moose play in a spurs shirt again.
  16. @Captain Ron posted this the other day before the match: The general thought is that Poche might actually be swayed by a big name club this off season. Spurs might be preparing.
  17. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-44079462 sad stuff and gives "floating in the forth" an even more haunting meaning.
  18. COYS!!! glad to have champions league football to ring in the new stadium. IF the poch rumors are true, it could also explain some of the team's performance over the last month.
  19. paired with wanyama. like i said...
  20. that's why i was asking whether or not he's ever actually told a recruit they no longer had a spot as a result of taking visits. guys like leal, richardson, and williams are never going to have that happen, regardless of what they do. chase lane may be a better example of the type of recruit this would work on but he also doesn't have a bunch of blueblood programs beating down his door.
