  1. sure, but would you put either of those places before homeslice or little deli all things equal? it's not like they cost any less. if the definition of overrated is "it's good but i wouldn't put myself through any trouble to go there when other, more convenient options exist" then i guess it's overrated. but i don't think the reputation as the best in austin is undeserved.
  2. so much this. poch is a good manager and has been great for spurs, but he has shown a few times this year that he believes he is a bit more infallible than his results bear out. 4 years in it's starting to get old listening to him say that they should have won but need more time to build a winning mentality. that starts with making the right team selection in games like this, and he did not by starting lloris and sanchez (and i have been a big sanchez apologist this season).
  3. care to elaborate on the places that are better? in my estimation you can make an argument for little deli or via 313, but that's about it.
  4. it's shambolic really. waiting for the inevitable 1 minute of stoppage time even with all of the time wasting.
  5. very nice of anthony taylor to give jose a few extra minutes to decide whether to take valencia off or not.
  6. probably some truth to that. also probably worth mentioning that his dad is the qb coach at syracuse and he's married to dino babers' daughter, so that may have had a little to do with it as well.

  8. another sissoko start. another lackluster result. how do we feel about those fivethirtyeight predictions at the moment?
  9. i went for the 2016/17 season opener and there were a few kids there. i don't recall it being too crazy (some songs, etc.) but it was also a fairly boring 1-1 draw with everton. i'd say if you're cool taking your kids to a bar for any other daytime sporting event they'll be fine.
  10. if true, lol at toby wanting £180K per week. that is van dijk (stupid) money and substantially more than any of the other defenders in the PL. i love toby but man, that seems like a player who just wants out and is forcing levy's hand.
  11. for context, here is the full quote from dembele (who is my favorite player in the squad): a bit different than the toby situation as they haven't been negotiating on an extension at all this season. he could leave, but given his injury history and age we likely aren't looking at a huge transfer fee AND a contract that spurs couldn't match. if levy is serious about selling only the players that poch wants to sell then i think they'll figure out a way to get a deal done. wanyama isn't leaving this summer regardless of what happens with mousa.
