  1. the same thing we've done for the past 7 seasons.
  2. aurier also likely on his way out, which probably factors in more here than doherty being shit. tanganga has been first choice over both so far this season.
  3. fify. agreed something isn't right. just after he was signed poch said he'd need up to two years to adjust to the EPL and start reaching his potential. levy isn't going to let him go this season on what amounts to a free and there is no other club that will be willing to take on 100% of his current wages. given that he's shown flashes and is only 24 i don't have an issue with then giving him one more chance to see what he can do. if anything he'll provide skilled depth (at least on paper).
  4. no. you go get jack wilshere before it’s too late.
  5. i'm more interested in what charlie kane clemmie moodie had to say.
  6. so very spursy. one of our own indeed.
  7. nothing. that's the point. who's going to retroactively enforce any sort of punishment? the NCAA? the feds? lulz. the athletic department and compliance office should have already figured out how to take advantage in the short-term while planning for the long-term. to use a different example, this is like a CBD shop in austin being afraid to sell delta-8 in february because they were worried it would be made illegal in the session in may.
  8. this reminds me of the time a fortune 50 IT Director argued against implementing google analytics as a short-term, additional data point to try and help them understand why they were hemorrhaging revenue at the bottom of the funnel because "it's free until it isn't." 8 years and untold amounts of lost revenue later they're still fucking around implementing their long-term martech stack vision while continuing to lose market share to smaller, more agile competitors.
  9. how reading this thread feels.
  10. not mad about it tbh. think conte would have been mou 2.0 here. graham potter and eddie howe…come on down! you’re the next contestants on “the managerial price is right”, with your host daniel levy.
  11. what if your ex-wife is kate beckinsale and your other option is kate gosselin?
  12. re-hiring the manager responsible for the greatest 5-year stretch in modern club history would not be peak spursy. hiring antonio conte or roberto martinez would be peak spursy.
  13. i'll be honest, if this does happen i'm not sure how i'll feel about it. maybe two years removed from the UCL final season (which, if we recall, was fairly disappointing outside of that run) will have poch renewed. but there are still quite a few players in the squad from those days that need to be moved on as it was clear they had tuned him out by the time he was sacked.
