  1. Pic of the awesomeness and severity of the NCAA hammer below.
  2. Yeah, you have enough voices batting around in your head already.
  3. He's had a really bad year. Maybe 2019 will be better for him.
  4. Will need to see pictures posted of her to show just how dark. Minimal clothes to highlight any tan lines would be helpful too.
  5. I wonder if an SMU type death penalty is even possible now for a major program with the amount of money tossed around.
  6. Close, I wear a coyote drape, not a coonskin to games. (true story). He was a juco we brought in and was really good for the two years here. I don't remember hearing of any off field problems. Started having fumbling problems last year and then skipped our bowl game to get ready for the draft (went undrafted). I never understand touching kids. I'm a major league reprobate but this stuff is't like that.
  7. When I think of "shared balance of power", I think of a balance between executive, legislative and judicial. I don't think of having a balance between the two major parties. Maybe the monolith that is the GOP/Democratic Party is the problem? Yay Team!!!! PS: My personal feeling is that much of problems are due to the abrogation of any responsibility by the legislative branch. They have substituted monetary policy for taking a stand on any reasonable fiscal policy, legislative action gets replaced with executive orders, and our military is now used daily without any or just minimal input from Congress. It is also my belief that to fix it (if it is fixable) is for Congress (both houses) to grow a damn backbone and worry more about their work than getting re-elected (that will take term limits), and also to return much of what is done in Washington to the individual states.
  8. I totally believe that you do.
  9. It will be interesting to see how we play that in your face press defense this year without Jevon or Dax in the backcourt. Jevon turned 40 so finally had to leave.
  10. ^^^^ That wasn't a foul in the Big East......play on!!!
  11. Our basketball games with them have been must watch too. It's like we found someone who plays old Big East style physical rough house basketball. It makes Huggins a happy man.
  12. We flew into Des Moine yesterday and have been touring around Ames. Real nice folks so far and multiple invites to tailgates at the RV lot for tomorrow. Eating so far started with last night dinner at Olde Main Brewing Co watched the TCU/TTU game. It was Ok. The servers in the bar were a lot of fun. Like you suggested we had breakfast at The Grove (perfect breakfast dive) toured campus looking for women of low morals and daddy issues, and then had a great lunch at Cafe Beaudelaire. That's my kind of place. If we had time or come on the other side of the back, I'd go there again. I'm back at the Radisson resting up for tonight. I think the plan is to start dinner at a place called Hickory Park and then go find a sports bar to drink rum and watch some games. One of the tailgates we were invited to was at the Vet school on the other side of the stadium from the RV lot. Looking forward to tomorrow, meeting fun folks, and hopefully a good win (40-27) by my Mountaineers...
  13. Here is pic of her years ago playing in the snow.
  14. My Plott Hound was a rescue that I got when she was less than a year old. She had been beaten almost to death (maybe because she wasn't a good hunter, ...hopefully he's in hell) and for months after I got her, if you came up to her, she would lay down, cringe and just wait for the beatings. She died a week and a half ago at 13 years old. She was without a doubt the greatest dog that ever walked the earth. She roamed around my farm and in the woods, layed on the porch, and slept at the foot of my bed. She loved all people who came here after being very wary for several years of men. She had one accident in the house the first day she was here, I put her nose in it and said no, and she never had another her entire life. She listened when I told her do something, loved walks to the creek, and laying on her beanbag in the great room. When my wife left a couple of years ago, she didn't dare think of bringing up taking Halle. She had been slowing down and ill all summer and spent quite of bit time at our vets. She hadn't been able to go upstairs for about a month and she died curled up on that beanbag mat about 4 AM last Tuesday. I was glad I got to be with her here at home instead of having to put her down. Rescue pets are the best, and she was my buddy.
  15. If you see Beto there (he probably snuck under a fence to cause mischief), please don't ask him to be your designated driver.
  16. Pretty sure that Sam Ehlinger wrote one this afternoon.
  17. Much better to just ignore or pass by his posts.
  18. My boy is there and is not too positive about the outcome. I'm in Morgantown for our game against Kansas and am rather positive about the outcome here. Also, it's October and supposed to hit freaking 83 degrees here today. What the hell is this? It should be upper 60's.
