  1. TCU has had pretty ideal circumstances thus far. Their road games were Kansas (with their backup QB) and WVU (saddled with their starting QB). OU, OSU, and KSU were all at home against backup or injured starting QBs. They deserve credit for winning, but they couldn't have asked for a more favorable schedule to date.
  2. This. "You're destroying the program so if you don't leave we'll destroy the program" is totally on-brand for aggy, but not exactly a great negotiating tactic.
  3. Aggy Recruiting 2023 - 90 million problems
  4. I don't mind kicking you in the nuts. Give me a call at 214-799-2827 to let me know when and where.
  5. This is the most mature "your mom" post in the history of Surly.
  6. 5+ yards on 47% of rushes and no gain/loss on 22% pretty much captures Texas' season so far.
  7. I totally forgot aggy thought they were getting Malachi Nelson even though it was only two months ago.
  8. Some folks in College Station have this same question.
  9. He's a redshirt freshman doing redshirt freshman things. Specially on the road. Compare last night to OSU and there's clear improvement. At this point, he should be showing promise, which he has. Consistency, leadership, etc. usually comes later. VY wasn't superman his first year starting and wanted to leave Texas.
  10. They are really leaning into the, "we have more money than anyone" fan fiction.
  11. Achane is warming up so he seems to be playing.
  12. It depends on recruiting the first three years and then his record after that. Strong got 3 years because it was clearly a failure - nothing was going to happen to turn that around. Herman got 4 because recruiting had fallen off and everyone hated him. If Sark keeps recruiting well (which won't happen unless he's winning at an acceptable level), he'll get at least 4 years because he's not an asshole.
  13. Mack's record his last few years didn't really reflect how bad the teams were. His last season, all 5 losses were by 19 or more. It was really clear he had to go.
  14. I'd be ecstatic to get back to being annoyed at 10-3.
  15. I lived in DC for most of my adult life and ... still don't give a shit.
  16. My glass half full post of the day: there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to our defensive substitutions, but that means a lot of guys are getting meaningful snaps when the game is still undecided.
  17. I hope Weigman is fine. That said, him medically retiring from football would be kind of perfect for aggy. They'd be undefeated in every hypothetical matchup for the next four years with four imaginary championships and Heisman trophies. Every year, King/Johnson/[fill in the blank] is going to lead them to glory... and then they actually play. If Weigman doesn't play, the fantasy never has to end.
