  1. I’ve been listening to the Bill Burr podcasts for awhile now he does 2 a week. Should be a great show.
  2. If you remember, il mulino was also impossible to get into (for awhile) when they were in Uptown and was very high priced and then all the sudden shut down. Same with Nine steakhouse in Victory. We could easily see same thing with Carbone. I thought about going there in Hong Kong and looked at the menu and we passed.
  3. Restaurant week: June 6-17 list of restaurants and menus https://www.restaurantweeklv.org/
  4. I just got home from a trip. It’s busy again. Even some conferences going. I’m calling in some chips to get any and all F1 hookups. Let us know how your trip goes. I did Lotus, Piero’s, and Sen of Japan. Needed to take a friend to my favorite off Strip spots. Made a few sports bets. Popped over to Ellis Island one night and it was rockin’.
  5. Meanwhile across the pond: Lev Grinberg, a 14-year-old Ukrainian amateur golfer, became the second-youngest player to make the cut at a European Tour event after shooting a brilliant 69 at the Soudal Open. The teenager carded 70 in his opening round on Thursday on his first appearance at a European Tour event and followed that up with another superb display on Friday to make the cut tied for 29th position in Belgium on three under par.
  6. Not sure on all the places you’d consider or are interested in but I believe the highest rated restaurant is Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand. As you are probably familiar, it’s expensive but generally worth it for those who are into that sort of a dining experience. The issue would be getting a reservation but try asking a casino host at Aria they might be able to help. Outside of that one, could look at other nice places but not in that same category. I can vouch for Amalfi at Caesar’s. The space is vibrant and the seafood/Italian menu is fantastic. Would definitely fit into the fun night out category with great food but not into the super high end experience. If you wanted more of the fun experience and I’m not sure on the food these days, could look into The Foundation Room at the top of Mandalay Bay. It’s been years since I’ve been so I can’t say on the food quality but the view hasn’t changed and it’s pretty cool. If you wanted to mix it up and grab an Uber, check out Vintner Grill in Summerlin. It’s pretty much the nice locals option for folks who live out that way and it’s a solid spot.
  7. Agree. When I’ve played $5/10 I do it at Bellagio where it has a reasonable cap. The $10/20 game at Bellagio is uncapped and I never made the jump to it.
  8. How bout this one: Justin Leonard is in the field, making his first PGA Tour start since the Texas Open five years ago. Leonard turns 50 next month and will be eligible for the PGA Tour Champions.
  9. Is he known as a good tipper?
  10. Yeah there has to be something with regards to the wording of tub table. Perhaps that tweet wasn’t entirely accurate. Maybe they meant the shorter table which has only one dealer for about 6 players total. Google search shows results that talks about different table sizes and setups but doesn’t seem to dig into the definition of tub table. Silver Sevens is an interesting old school feel casino a few blocks east of the Strip. I went over there a few years ago to make a sports bet to get better odds. For the Masters, I got Sergio Garcia at 35/1 at Silver Sevens when on the Strip I think it was 30/1. And I won that one which was pretty cool.
