  1. He is defniintely not comfortable. If he finishes above +4 I think he pulls the ripcord.
  2. I almost want to put money on tiger withdrawing before the end of next round.
  3. Alright gents... looking to outfit a fishing boat and need a fishfinder recommendation. Lake fishing at Beaver Lake in AR. It's a deep lake (250'+). Probably want to keep it under $500 but not sure if that gets me to the need. I'd like to plot courses and mark where we find fish. Need a good display, something that is useful but not so many functions that you don't use half of them. Going on a 17' custom made bass boat.
  4. Had a friend yelling at me that this tourney would be all about stroke gained from the tee so Rory is a lock. While I know that strokes gained takes fairway accuracy into account, at the open fairway accuracy is the most important factor in my opinion and Rory isn’t top 10 in that.
  5. If presti can dump Paul without losing any draft picks he will go down as the second greatest escape artist behind Houdini.
  6. Good. Ku needs to do something to get interest back.
  7. Isn’t the reason they’re going out this far is because of the rule that you can’t trade consecutive first rounders? I can’t believe this wasn’t seen as an obvious result of that rule. The league values superstars so much that they have to come up with something different to make these trades work. Some of these GMs and most of the players won’t even be around anymore when teams are still dealing with the trades. I guess the owner could always step in but Jesus. It’s like no one in the nba except the knicks can show self restraint and the knicks only have it when they shouldn’t.
  8. That’s insanity. Guy probably lost his caddie job over this. Hopefully the USGA doesn’t allow him near an event and if everyone here is lucky hopefully he never sets foot on a course that you play. What a cunt.
  9. Another 86 today but from tees that are further back than my usual. 37 putts which is pitiful. 2 doubles and a handful of pars or so. Couldn’t hit any putts outside 3 feet. I know you can’t do this but... should have been an 82 easily. Trending down to 14.7.
  10. Haha Roy has never been able to take responsibility for getting the short end of the stick. Like he can’t believe a recruit would sign somewhere else. Like when there are questions in the AD it is never because of his actions (even when you get dinged after he leaves on petty crap). Roy is a damn good coach and it was awesome to watch Kansas when he was here. But I was also 7-18 years old in those days and I didn’t see the true inner workings of the program back then. Now that I follow CBB closely and have come to learn to read people and personalities I realize that at his core Roy is a very sore loser and isn’t very gracious in defeat, regardless of whether that is on the court or outside of it.
  11. Got out 4 times over the end of the week. Had a new personal best 85. 30 putts. Had 5 straight one putts. On the front I hit 5 greens. Only hit 1 on the back. With the revision today I’m down to a 15.5. Which means I’ve shaved off 5 strokes on my 132 slope course since the June 15th revision. On the tee sheet for 3 rounds this week before taking the weekend off at the lake.
  12. Well he didn’t outright apologize.... yet. I’m sure he’ll go on another news show and apologize profusely today. This guy just needs to call it and work on Texas if he wants a future in politics.
  13. Did not know that. Well the story I’ve heard is that he didn’t like scummy recruiting. Having a bag man and hating that aspect of recruiting don’t have to be mutually exclusive though. Maybe he just thought it was a matter of time until he got caught so he went nba. Not like he had anything else to prove at the college level.
  14. Supposedly Donovan hated recruitment because of how dirty it got. Would be an excellent hire.
  15. I was busting presti for the team building but with 13 first round picks you have to think at least 2 become all star level right?
  16. Do they have the same amount of years? Maybe presti is planning on dumping Paul in a year or two with a pick or two?
  17. Just giving these kids a second chance. Who knows.. maybe we get a national title out of it.
  18. That’s me. Probably 2-4 GIR per round but my short game is getting very soft. I do make a lot of 8-12 footers though. My green reading has always been good but when I really focused on good contact and used the arrow on the pro V to line up my shots my putting took off. My favorite drill is to work the clock around a pin on the practice green. 3, 6, 9 feet away at the 3-6-9-12 positions.
  19. Wow. I probably average 30-31 putts per round. I couldn’t imagine 3 putting more than 2-3 times in a round. I’d lose my mind. Last year I averaged around 35 putts per round and I was pissed at myself.
  20. Getting the SEC treatment haha. The kid is too good not to get a second chance. He was going to end up at a bigger program if we didn’t reinstate him. One game seems light to say the least though. My guess is that he violates his diversion agreement. Not a chance in hell you can survive college for 3 years while being monitored by the police.
  21. My business partner shot a 95 with FORTY FOUR putts a week or so ago. I've never heard of anyone going over 38 putts. 44 is practical joke bad. He had to have been putting with Happy Gilmore's hockey putter or something.
  22. Loved playing in Tahoe when I lived up there in 2008. Old Greenwood (Jack Course) in Truckee was the place I knew the starter. Played Edgewood a couple of times. It's one of those courses where the ball just goes and goes because of the altitude.
