  1. If Bradley gets back to what he was in Boston then he is a great pickup.
  2. You were always about "getting" trump. If he was got then why hasn't he been impeached so they can throw him in rikers? I'm guessing it is because the people who actually have some sort of legal background advised that going after him for anything in the Mueller report wouldn't stick. If it is so black and white then he would at least be impeached. Just like trump's birther movement, if it was true then everyone in congress (controlled by the repubs for a bit) would have latched on and impeached him. Instead, you have very few calls for impeachment from the sane left. Only the radical left and people who need to "impeach trump!" for reelection call for his impeachment. Why is that? I thought they caught him red handed breaking the law?
  3. Hugo, maybe you should hold your horses on this one. We don’t need it to become 500 pages of you double posting at the top of every page to make sure everyone saw your posts on the previous page. Your last hunt didn’t get trump and this one is a very speculative one. How about we just let things play out and not start linking all of the evidence that you have that the prosecutor doesn’t have.
  4. Yep... This is going to be a much longer play. We'll have to see the trial unfold and the evidence before we see anyone get scrutiny other than "he knew epstein" or "He flew on Epstein's plane." My guess is that this is going to carry through the 2020 cycle. What is shocking to me is that these crimes are basically what took place already and what he was granted immunity for 10 years or so ago. Why rehash it now? For the record, if Trump was involved in this then I'm off the bandwagon. But just knowing the guy doesn't mean you raped kids. Trump deserves the trial that Epstein is getting if he was part of the action.
  5. Indictment was supposed to be unsealed at 8am (I’m guessing eastern time). Anyone seen it yet?
  6. Aww does the truth hurt that bad? I get that he was a great player for UT and has done a lot for the school. But the fact remains that his ego gets bruised when fans don’t love him as much as another player. He gets defensive when kids living in their parents basements criticize him on Twitter. He’s charmin soft. That doesn’t change him as a player. He’s going to be a top 10 all time guy.
  7. Only one has created fake twitter accounts as some sort of support group for himself.
  8. He kicked ass in the trade. I just think if he managed the roster better over the last 2 seasons (mainly by not dumping Roberson) he could have put together a formidable team this year or last.
  9. I’m a college basketball guy and I follow recruiting more than the average fan. Right now there isn’t an AD or Zion in the pipeline. We are at least 4 years away from even one guy who can change the path of a franchise. Then the thunder have to land that guy by getting lucky in the lottery. Then they have to either sign free agents and build around him (overpaying and end up in the same spot as today) or trade and build. The thunder struck absolute gold in multiple drafts. It was unprecedented. It won’t happen again because the talent just isn’t there. Everyone knew KD was going to be a god. Everyone knew Russ was the fastest handler in college basketball when he was on the court. Everyone knew harden was tearing up the PAC. Then they got lucky that Russ and harden actually developed even more. That is lightning in a bottle and the chances of it happening again are slim, even with a 6-7 year window of picks. Im not saying it’s impossible, and the thunder were definitely going to be in this position sooner or later (and with a lot less picks), but they didn’t have to blow it up this year. They could have done it next year if they didn’t advance in the playoffs this season.
  10. We didn’t know he was opening that door though. Presti probably could have prevented this from happening last offseason but he didn’t. He’s a great negotiator but I’m not so sure about his roster management.
  11. 100% agree. But not signing Roberson or moving him and some other assets to become a contender could have been much less painful than a 10 year rebuild that is based on the luck of the ping pong balls. I think presti is possibly the best GM in the league, he is great at hunting to improve his team, but he has some head scratcher moves with guys he wants to keep.
  12. OKC doesn’t need an all star point guard to stay relevant and to potentially be viable as a franchise. They need generationally great players. They had 4 in the last 10 years if you count PG. Now they’re looking down the barrel of having zero. The strength of the franchise and the fans is about to be tested. Okc won’t survive 15 years of lottery picks.
  13. I think they needed time. Maybe Roberson helps if he is healthy but I would have never kept him if making a move for George was on the menu. The could have gotten better with some small decisions. The biggest factor in a possible okc contender would have been the decline of CP3, the break up and injury of GSW, keeping the clippers from getting Kawhi, and keeping RW and PG healthy and in rhythm together. That doesn’t make them better than the other teams in the west but it makes the pack in the west much tighter and who knows what happens.
  14. I’m kind of surprised that the PG thing went downhill so fast. He and Russ seemed to be great buddies throughout the season. Take into account the end of the big 3 era (at least temporarily) and OKC could have actually contended in 2019 if they stayed healthy and made minor changes to the roster. Now okc is looking at possibly 5-10 years of being completely lost in the woods. Nba offseason is a fickle bitch.
  15. I can’t see okc offloading Russ but he might ask for a trade if they didn’t tell him they were going to use him as leverage first. He seems like a guy who will be pissed if his loyalty to okc isn’t equal to their loyalty to him.. and he’s shown a shitload of loyalty. The tough thing for okc is they are going to be in draft hell always just missing the playoffs but never in the lottery. Sure they are going to pick twice in the first round of every draft for the rest of time but how many generational type players get picked in the 18-30 range? There are some, but I don’t see another Kawhi coming along anytime soon. Okc fans are going to be tested big time with their loyalty to the franchise.
  16. The nba offseason is so much better than the regular season. They should shorten the schedule by 20 games and change the all star game to a mini tourney consisting of the all stars from each division on a team. have to love how the offseason plays out. Nobody should have been competitive with the warriors for years but everyone tried to rise to the challenge. Then the league balances again with what could be the elimination of the big3 era. Duos are back!
  17. That’s a shitload of picks. They won’t be good ones until maybe 2024 but that’s a shitload of picks. Presti made the move he had to make and maximized it before it went public or into more of a trade demand. That’s exactly how teams should handle that type of situation. PG doing OKC a solid on the way out by not making public demands. Okc goes from 5 seed to lottery team.
  18. To be fair, Pitt basketball should have been improving for the last 7 years or so... now they have Capel. They aren't going to be improving anytime soon. Capel is a great bagman but when you're the head guy you can't take that responsibility anymore. Capel needs to find his own bag man or he's going to be fired after missing the tourney in 4 straight years never winning more than 18 games.
  19. I’ve always been a good putter. I feel like over 32 putts is a horrible day on the greens. Nice round.
  20. Played again today. Didn’t play well. Lipped out 5 times and still shot a 93. No birdie chances. Amazing feeling to play terrible and shoot your 3rd lowest round of the year. 33 putts when I typically have less than 30 in a round. Two 3 putts.
  21. Whoa. Did the even charge you to play? I’ve walked off course that didn’t have sand in the bunkers for a full refund. I would have shit on the pro shop floor if they charged to play that shit.
  22. Followed up my best round ever (3rd ever round below 90) with an 88. Was +2 thru 5 on the back and finished triple-triple-double. Could have easily been an 86 or better. I’ve got a couple of things to work on that are clear but I think I’ve figured out how to keep my head in the game.
