  1. Thank you for posting this. I love watching the bubble develop. That being said, like everything, the bubble is a moving target. Every game matters and it changes nightly. A few teams winning with a few teams losing and the bubble ends up with Seth Greensberg and Dickie V crying that their team, or teams in general, didn't get in. Also note, this guy has UT in the "losers" spot saying only that he THINKS they get in with 3 wins. If UT loses 4 then they are in deep shit.
  2. The possibility is very distinct. UT has won 3 games it was a dog in, but has lost 7 games it was favor in. There is not evidence that UT has a late season run in their future. Even playing well over the last several games has netted a 4-4 record over the last eight games and a 4-7 record over the last 11 games. If UT continues to play "well" over the next 6 games you've got 17 wins. Squarely on the bubble and potentially out.
  3. I posted it elsewhere but UT will only be favored in 3 of its last 6 games. According to Massey Ratings, @OU is a 3 point favorite and TCU at home is a 1 point favor. If UT drops one of those two games and the 3 games it won't be favored in then the picture clearly changes with a 16 win season. You guys are in right now but you have arguably the toughest stretch of the season coming up. I did a little research and the worst record for an at-large (from a major basketball conference) bit was 1991 Villanova (9 seed). They were 16-11 and lost in the semi-finals of the BE tourney. They beat 5 ranked teams, 3 in the top 10. That bodes well for for UT, but that is also the worst team ever to make the tourney. If projections hold and UT loses either of the OU or TCU game then UT would effectively be the second worst team ever to make the tournament. Literally even 1 bid stealing team would knock them out of the field. It is tough to judge who is in and who isn't right now because it will literally change on a nightly basis. We can howl all night long about how UT is in, but if they drop 3-4 straight then everything changes. What is in today doesn't mean you are in tomorrow.
  4. Its almost like he wants to get fired so he can get a big check ASAP and move on.
  5. Meh... don’t mean to offend, just couldn’t get into the game at all based on what I was watching.
  6. I really wanted UT for obvious reasons but the never gave me a reason to get into the game. I don’t want to project my experience onto your guys or the fan base in general, but if the UT fans watched the game and saw what I saw in how boring it was then I understand why the FEC is empty much of the time.
  7. This was one of the most boring games I’ve watched. Not trying to be a dick but KSU was just mediocre and UT was a little less than mediocre. It wasn’t a classic mucky game from KSU and neither team ever really made a play to win the game or to pull away. It was truly just ho-hum until time ran out. Weird game to watch for me.
  8. You get rid of the 3 point line and KU probably has 4 more national titles even if you take away the 2008 title because of our 3 pointer.
  9. Yep... Fuck just look at KU. A few things here and there and we're going to have 100% of our team back next year potentially.
  10. I stole this from a KU board so obviously it wasn't made by someone who followed every team. My apologies for some bad information.
  11. This is where I'm at. My strategy is basically to get a girl, keep her for 2 months or so and then dump her. In my experience, this is about the time they start having to talk about feelings and they start with the innuendo like introducing you to their friends (happens at about 3-4 weeks) and hanging on you. Then friends ask ridiculous questions like "how long have you two been together" and you just know that she is telling them you're a couple and you know you don't want that. Then I'll take a week or two off and find the next one. I set my Hinge account so it is in Oklahoma (moving there on friday) and it has been off the hook for 3 weeks. Based on the talent pool, if I am going to share my adventures with you guys I'm going to need some sort of handicap. I'd probably set it at something like 1.5-2 points on every girl because the girls down there that are single are not good.
  12. Holy shit, get JT jr. On the surl pronto! He's seriously an animal. He just started with the drugs in the last two months, says he's going to ride it until he's 30 then give it all up. I don't want to make it look like I blow him or anything but the dude is good looking and in great shape. I've only ever seen him with one girl that wasn't 8+ and he was shitfaced. He fucked her in her car then came back into the bar when she left.
  13. I had a coworker once tell me that if I focused on work as much as I focused on getting pussy that I'd be a millionaire. Well now I focus more on work so I had to make my pussy plan for the year (think its on page 1). Buttttttt... I was talking with a buddy who is 29 the other day and he fucked 16 chicks in january. He also does blow and molly a ton and drinks every other night but he's good looking and has great game so I don't doubt him. My thoughts... how fucking exhausting would that be? Chasing 16 girls, and even fucking that many would be ridiculously tiring. Bottom line, I think I'm in a weird mental spot where I don't want to have to try to get laid but I don't want to have a significant other that I have to deal with. Then you start to do the math and realize that having a very casual girl (5-6 times a month) and hiring a pro once or twice a month is probably the best way to go.
  14. Yeah I don’t know if you’ve seen some of my rants but I’m convinced Ku is going down, whether I believe it is right or not. I’d like to see it all burn down at this point. Kind of have the “they can’t give every school the death penalty “ mentality.
  15. Certainly possible. I don’t think Shaka is a different coach so any improvement would be on the players.
  16. Bubble talk sucks because it moves in a daily basis and for the most part it is out of a teams control. You can be in but a surprise run by the worst AAC team in their conference tourney guarantees a spot. I think 18 wins gets in. I can’t see 16-17 wins making it happen.
  17. I tend to believe in regressing to the mean. Did Shaka become a good coach in the last two games? Did your team become a top 3-4 in the conference team the last two games? Or is it more likely you had two good games and your opponents had two bad games? Everyone on here was saying Texas is just a bad matchup for Ku. Sometimes that just means it’s a bad matchup, not that a team has turned a corner.
  18. So unseal it. What is there to lose? If trump's name is on it then he will be irreparably damaged. That's what the dems want isn't it? It wouldn't even take a conviction.
  19. But if he is a criminal then all you have to do is file an indictment. The public doesn't have to see shit. We didn't see anything until Stone and Manafort were indicted. Forget about the constitutionality of it, just file it and make the courts decide if the president can be indicted. That will destroy him because then the special counsel believes there is enough evidence to get a conviction.
  20. I don't want to be an ass, but I wouldn't bet on it. I haven't watched all of your games, but you've got 3 quality wins in the last 10 games. That's not exactly a high level of play, especially when you look at the remaining schedule: KSU OSu @OU @Baylor ISU @tech TCU If you play at the level you have during the last 2 games and your opponents play at the level they have, you really only have 3 wins left on the schedule. KSU is an unknown for the next 2-3 games so there might be a win there (I hope so), but you guys might have the toughest schedule left in the league.
  21. Why hasn't he been perp walked yet and why are lefties suddenly downplaying the mueller investigation like it is going to produce nothing?
  22. He also fired that campaign manager within months of hiring him. Does he get credit for that? Also, from everything I've read here and from the noise that congress-critters are making Trump is going down for "high CRIMES and MISDEMEANORS". So it would stand that it actually does take a crime to remove him from office. I'm assuming that there is some doubt, or absolute knowledge that, hiring a crooked piece of shit isn't an actual crime. So, how can you be guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors if there is doubt cast (beyond a reasonable doubt some would say) that hiring a POS isn't a crime? If Manafort, Cohen, Jr., or Stone's actions DIRECTLY implicate and lead to Trump pulling the strings then Trump will and should go down. Unequivocally. But just because you walk around with shitbirds doesn't mean you are a criminal which is what it takes at this point to remove trump from office. Your post seems to want to appeal to emotion more so than how things actually play out. Which is funny, because when I talk about "public perception" I get flamed because "that's not how it works" but people in this club also want to throw out emotional responses to say "yeah but he's still a bad guy."
  23. Have to agree with that. UT is a 3 point favorite over OU based on Massey Ratings. UT has 4 games they'll be the underdog in. If those are losses and you drop the @ OU game then that's 5 more losses and only 2 wins to close out the year with 16 wins. I didn't realize that 4/7 games were against the top of the conference. Just to get to the point where UT is a bubble team you've got to pick off 4 out of 7 and maybe even 5 out of 7. UT isn't looking like they are going dancing this year.
