  1. It’s an improvement on the cages we were making fun of Russia using for sure. Theirs looked like a homemade chicken coop on top of the tanks, but evidently the idea does something.
  2. My mom had a smoke room/sun room in our house. I could have wrote this. lol.
  3. I mean I’m pretty sure those are two totally different groups on the project that work on the aesthetics and the game play, one shouldn’t affect the other.
  4. Mendocino, Bodega Bay and Fort Bragg north of San Francisco along the coast are beautiful and relaxing to spend a day or two, nice restaurants and some cool air bnb’s. I’d drive up to the redwoods after for a day atleast and then the wine country. Knock your SF kick out in a day or two at most and then move on.
  5. My step sister was a front desk person somewhere for years and five years ago applied to the Post Office and is now a postmaster. She’s one of the dumbest people I know. They pay dumb people way above what the private sector would. There’s no way she would ever be in any form of management at UPS or even FedEx.
  6. Is that a house? Looks like a fancy high school. Pretty cool idea, the wife could live in a whole separate wing.
  7. Not really a comparison, I doubt many Jews think the Holocaust was good…. Many Iraqi’s think life is better today than under Saddam. If they can admit their life is better for them now why can’t you? Once again a microcosm discussion on the effects of the war, not saying it was good. Arguing the opposite of that is like the white Karen’s screaming the Redskins have to change their name while the Indian tribes are suing to get it changed back.
  8. No one said it was good. Just saying It’s not to be looked at as a black and white issue, it’s more complex. The fact is many Iraqi’s think the country is better off now than when Saddam was in power. Especially the Kurds.
  9. Looks exactly like what I said, pic is from the poll you posted. They feel safer by far but have bad memories of war, duh. Life overall is better now though.
  10. True, like I said you can debate that all day but overall they are happier. Also 72% of Americans were for the invasion before it started with risk of servicemen’s lives included in the poll. It’s easy to look back and play Monday morning qb. Your’e very correct in that we didn’t gain much.
  11. 72% of Iraqi’s main concern was safety in 2003, now it’s 20%. Relationships between tribes and religious sects was viewed as over 70% negative then now is at 30%. We can debate reasons all day but a lot of Iraqi’s like their life post Saddam vs pre.
  12. If you ask Iraqi’s they are probably still pretty happy we did it…. Especially the ones living here now that I know. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  13. Everyone defending dumbasses on both sides of this are pushing a motive against the other side…. There’s no justification for either’s dumbass behavior. And yes a few of y’all have done it for either side. Who would have thought 20 years ago this country was working way more together vs today. Everyone thought it was bad then, they had no clue what was coming. I’m sorry is that considered political? This whole thread is….
  14. If the reliability was even average I'd have some interest. In reality the only version that truly piques my interest is the Raptor, but it's powered by a twin turbo V6 (just asking for trouble) instead of the V8 it should have. Hard pass. I thought Ford became a lot more dependable over the last 20 years? Everything in the late 90’s early 2000’s was shit but I’ve heard it’s much better. Not enough for me to buy one after my first couple cars being Ford’s that were total lemons though.
  15. If there’s an oil spill in Galveston can anyone even tell? The answer is no evidently.
  16. No way that’s the actual cover, that looks like shit.
  17. I’d spend a couple days in Asheville over Knoxville and Greenville but that’s me. Mountains close by, tons of breweries, shops, the Biltmore hotel tour, ect.
  18. My girlfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I said a PS5 bundle pack and NCAA football (disapproval face) I said I’m getting it no matter what. (She hates games because all one of her kids does its play online, I haven’t had a PS4 in 4 years or so because I gave it away) I say ok how about a weekend getaway trip to like Fredericksburg all bills. She’s like sure! I go being nice, I’ll switch you and pay for the weekend getaway and you buy me the PS5 just babe, she’s like no. Women have no understanding of cost things.. I guarantee a full weekend in Fredericksburg cost us atleast double my PS5 with the NCAA game.
  19. I wouldn’t call the apartment complexes in the Domain ghetto, I’m pretty sure a 1br there is $2,600 plus a month. It was cool when the Domain first opened, it was Fleming’s, Joe Dimmagio’s and a couple other restaurants and a few shops. No one was ever there, you could walk right in to Fleming’s with a party of 8 and get sat right away.
  20. This is really good if your HEB has it, not all locations do though.
  21. So Pierce has a late run of wins to save his job, keeps himself as pitching coach too and we’re stuck with ok teams that have no chance of winning it all for years to come….
  22. Let me know when we can see the northern lights in Texas.. Sounds pretty cool to me and no cell service for a couple days?! I’m all about it. lol
  23. Yea I think they were on the run for murder already…. I wouldn’t go camping in PINs without a gun, many stories over the years of people on the run hiding out there.
  24. In Matamoros and other border towns the street tacos are definitely what everyone considers “street tacos” and have been for a long time. Now if what they serve in them is beef always is a different question. Not all places charge the same price as big tacos, plenty hole in the wall Mexican joints or food trucks sell them much cheaper.
