  1. Shoulder it appears. Does not appear to be concussion.
  2. Exactly.
  3. Agreed.
  4. Think it was him on the long catch and run that was called back early in the 1st quarter. EDIT: they just handed it to him, too.
  5. Right. Most of the collarbone breaks I've seen they are gingerly supporting the arm and being helped off the field. Quinn was walking by himself at least.
  6. Obviously Fubo is on a delay up in here... LOL
  7. We've got to get off the field on 3rd and long. C'mon guys.
  8. I'm going to totally go off topic here and say that the "Kyle Field mystique" is such a fucking lie and total bullshit.
  9. He wasn't holding it like it was a collarbone, at least.
  10. F- these fuckers. Cheap shot.
  11. Damn I hate this Goggles motherfucker.
  12. Mrs CL and I were in Nashville over the weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary. Went to the Country Music Hall of Fame (highly recommended, btw) on Monday. They have a Trans Am from Smoky and the Bandit on display with a big picture of Burt Reynolds and Jerry Reed next to it. I say to Mrs CL that I didn't know Jerry Reed was in the HOF. She replies, "Yeah they both are." "Huh? Burt Reynolds is in the Country Music Hall of Fame?" "No, that's Waylon Jennings. He drove the car in Smoky and the Bandit."
  13. Bad tackling. That's what kind.
  14. I was out at my Scurry County place over the weekend and noticed that our speed is was down. Was 220+ when it was installed in the spring, now its more like 40 or 50.... and fubo is constantly buffering. Hopefully the new batch of satellites fixes it... and it's still tons better than the cellular internet we had before Starlink.
  15. That's the worst part of shooting an automatic. You can get devices to catch the hull as it flies out, but I think they'd be pretty distracting. In registered skeet and sporting (not sure about trap), it's very common for guys to throw hulls on the ground, but in registered FITASC, the rules actually require you to pick up your hulls or the "judge" (as its called in FITASC) can start penalizing you. In every US shoot I've ever seen, they give you a warning first, but in the big international shoots they expect you to know the rules and don't hesitate to hand out penalties. FWIW - other penalties: - inappropriate footwear - not unloading your empties before stepping out of the hoop - cursing - location of your number (must be centered on your back) - wearing a shirt without a collar (hemmed crew necks are allowed)
  16. The fallout from the toilet argument is that she invited me to come to Ferguson to a meeting today to discuss appliances and toilets. I’m sitting here taking notes at this very moment while she talks to the designers. Holy shit. This is going to take more handholding on my part. This is bad. Really bad. She has no idea what she’s doing and is just going off with impractical ideas (eg no freezer in the kitchen, just in the mud room) because she thinks she’s so smart. The designers are trying to explain stuff and talk reason to her and she’s blowing them off. I thought I’d give her a little autonomy here. Bad mistake. A bad expensive mistake.
  17. I'd second the recommendation for the A400, but "double duty" makes it a little more complicated. If by "trap and skeet" you mean actual trap and skeet, especially trap, then a 12 gauge is necessary, and then you need to look at your budget and decided if an O/U is a better choice, etc etc. For that budget, a semi auto is probably better. But if "trap and skeet" means "hand targets in the pasture", then get a 20 gauge semi auto. (Assuming you are RH, since Beretta doesn't make a 20 gauge LH semi auto)
  18. You mean this Boise? The Boise with those same buildings in your picture but without the ultra telephoto lens? The one that is dry and flat and abuts the mountains but isn't in the mountains itself? I'm sorry, you're right. You can see mountains from Boise, but you can't see them in Lubbock. Therefore it's a ludicrous comparison. Fucking shaggy.
  19. I tried and it kept crashing. Going to try again maybe tomorrow.
  20. We went to the Worlds track meet last month and drove to Bend from Boise and then to Eugene the next night. I had been to Portland and Astoria before but this was my first time down in the southern part or Oregon. (I had never been to either Boise or Bend before, but each was exactly what I pictured the other to be. Boise is hot desert and very flat, kind of like Lubbock. Bend is supposed to be in the desert but felt a lot more alpine.) Bend was awesome and was one of the most scenic cities I've ever visited. Would like to go back there and spend more time in the future. Went here for dinner in Bend and it was great: https://www.yelp.com/biz/pacific-pizza-and-brew-bend The drive over the mountains to Eugene the next day was pretty cool. Lots more traffic on that road than I had anticipated, but very very scenic. Did not care much for Eugene but admittedly didn't spend a lot of time there. My immediate impression was that it reminded me a lot of Ann Arbor. Much more dense and urban and older than I expected. The portion right around the UO campus felt very much like an east coast college town.
  21. Mrs CL and I are building a house. We are currently having a fight over her selection of toilets. I looked them up and they are the lowest rated toilets on Kohler's website and elsewhere on the internet. The primary complaint being that the bowl doesn't hold a lot of water and therefore it doesn't stay clean. The phrase "skid marks" was used in more than one review. Any water saving you might get is erased by the extra flushes it takes to get all your shit down the drain. I politely pointed her to these reviews and said we might consider picking out something more traditional. She took offense and claimed that she looked at all the specs and the salesman assured her it was fine. "Did you actually take a shit in one of these, because all these bad reviews on the internet apparently did." Tone. This house thing is shaping up to be a lot of fun. (The good news is that I'm going to have my own WC in our bathroom and I can just pick out whatever I want, but I'm more concerned about guests...)
  22. Man, I had forgotten about that comedy gold.
  23. Thanks. Learn something new every day. I'll try it again - on purpose - sometime this fall the next time I feel like doing a brisket.
  24. Well, then I feel better about the temperature, but I'm still dumbfounded by how quickly it cooked. Do you 275er's get quicker cook times too?
  25. Put a 12# on the Big Green Egg yesterday afternoon around 4:30 intending to cook it overnight for late lunch today. Little bit of a brain fart and set the temp at 275 (ie pulled pork) instead of the usual 250. It was ready by 10:30. I've never had one cook that fast. There was no stall whatsoever. Wrapped it and put it into a cooler to carve and try to salvage this morning. Could have been a disaster but it turned out just about perfect. Not sure what happened. Got lucky from all that right living I guess.
