  1. So in summary: What's left of the Big 12 are a bunch of shitty teams that no one else really wants. Those shitty teams have ZERO leadership to keep the shitty conference together. The same Texas that has been shit on for years for "running the conference" is now shit on for not subsidizing this group of outcasts and misfits. Is that about right? Good riddance Big 12!
  2. Can I haz joint statement from KU and ISU?
  3. And the SEC in the first year, just like the Big 12
  4. I would assume MSU, but I know it wasn't Texas The University of Florida's brand new baseball stadium (which I know they paid for):
  5. Counter to your counter. Mississippi State built and packed this SOB out on their way to their title. It is nearly as big as Baylor's toilet seat football stadium. We are now affiliating with the big boys.
  6. Fair - A place where they give blue ribbons to a pig.
  7. But not the happy ending kind
  8. I’m surprised we haven’t seen SEC flags burning and chaos in the streets of BCS yet. Maybe tomorrow when it becomes official
  9. Also less likely to duck a good team while they are up or a typically good team while they are down.
  10. If they need help filling out those application forms, I am not currently doing anything but reading message boards.
  11. 2.5 hour drive for me. That would be one I would go to for sure, since one of my best friends is a huge Auburn fan and grad. I have purposely avoided Starkvegas for years, but would go for that series. UF vs UT would probably be a yearly thing for me as long as I have kids at UF too. Maybe LSU, but I hate Baton Rouge and Tigah fans. Baseball will be awesome!
  12. B...b...b..but why would the SEC want OU and Texas Kurt? It just doesn't make sense!
  13. Ironically, I had a meeting with Auburn, LSU and A&M grads yesterday and of course the topic of Texas and OU to the SEC came up. I've known the aggie for years, and he is die hard but a good guy and pretty even keel. Of the three, he was the calmest about it. The LSU grad was actually the one trying to count the votes to keep us out and thought LSU might be one. Auburn and LSU guys were SIGNIFICANTLY more concerned about us joining than A&M guy was. I could only guess they were worried about recruiting. LSU guy was sad about losing the UF game, but I know UF isn't sad about losing LSU. A lot of bad blood there over recent events. Flip side is I have very close friends that are Gator and Auburn fans, and they think the move would be awesome. All are very much SEC homers, and I am starting to understand why. When every championship you watch involves members of your conference at the very top, you know you have earned it if your team is there with them. The games are much better because it truly does "matter more" to them. Just look at the ridiculous baseball stadiums they all have.
  14. I have nothing against the guy, but I think the full name should be Crystal Cunty if we are going that route.
  15. Berkeley would really suck after losing to those dorks in front of 20,000 fans too.
  16. I will counter with
  17. At least he got the flagship part right. I remember all of the transparency of the Aggie move so well.
  18. I would have to object to this. I get where you are coming from, but if you think we are leaving the same conference that they left I don't know what to tell you. Playing 9 conference games only to have a rematch for the championship is the polar opposite of what the smart conferences are doing. It is a slow ride to hell, where none of the teams can climb to the top and succeed on the national stage. The Big 12 needed at least two more middle of the road teams to be relevant again. We didn't even know the game was being played the last time the musical chair realignment started up and got caught with our pants down. If the Big 12 can't Arkansas and someone like Nebraska (narrator: they can't), those teams simply don't exist. I have gone on record saying take UCF or Cincy or someone like them to at least get the numbers back up and have multiple conference teams capable of 10 win seasons. But I always had to choke down the puke after typing it. This is simply good business for Texas. A shocking thing that we aren't really known for, as much shit as we take for doing nothing but looking out for ourselves. Edit to say that you actually know this. You would have the last Big 12 Championship if this league wasn't a total shit show.
  19. The flipside to this is that you are currently the 2nd best football team in the Big 12. There couldn't be a better time to make that claim, especially since OSU, KSU, TCU and Tech are all pretty down. I hope it pans out for you guys if this is the end of the line. It pisses me off to lose to the cyclones, but I gained a lot of respect for your fans and program over the last decade. I hope the Big 10 did too.
  20. That kids want to play in the SEC because the SEC puts players in the NFL
  21. It’s not at all really. Most old school Gators I know miss playing Auburn and would love to have a yearly shot at Bama. Auburn not playing Georgia every year was a big issue with Auburn fans I know too. This would actually fix some of those rivalries. I’m curious how they would do the cross over. Would they go to 9 league games? Stick with one cross over every year? Only one cross over would suck.

The end of your video was the best part. Quick read still feet throws are the things he needs to improve. If he can do that, the RPO game will be deadly.

He's an unbelievable athlete, but I am curious how much he has progressed as a passer. He has made some real WTF throws in the limited opportunities Mullen has given him. But Mullen is a QB whisperer, and I believe he prefers an athlete like Jones at the QB position since he really depends on a running QB to set the running game. In Dan's best year at MSU, Dak ran for 986 yards on 210 attempts (led the team) while throwing for 3449. They rushed for over 3000 total yards as a team. That is a much different result than the 4500 yards passing and 1774 total rushing yards from last year. It would probably help the defense out to move away from the run and shoot version of his offense too. I'm curious to see what this year will look like. I'm also curious what Gator fans reaction to this type of offense will be. I guess as long as the Gators win they will be happy, but last year's offense is what the Gator faithful love to see. 46 TDs through the air makes Steve Spurrier smile.
  24. Now do Summer Vibes in BCS 👍
