  1. If we are going to go back and criticize analogies from four months ago, I am starting with the 8 year old girl with boyfriend issues.
  2. Curious what the UT stance is on vaccines. My daughter will be at UF in the fall, and you can either show proof of vaccine or get tested biweekly. It is super easy to get vaccines in Florida now, I signed up yesterday morning to get the vaccine yesterday afternoon. Including the drive it took about 45 minutes. Hopefully we get full stadiums this year.
  3. Does is speak to how awful College Station is that all of these dipshit aggies are gushing about how beautiful Buffalo Bayou is? I would feel the need to get a tetanus shot after just being near the shoreline.
  4. But we can vandalize his house, right?
  5. Especially since Milanya started wearing umpire padding under her shirt to hide those beautiful tittays. Because you pervs won’t stop talking about them.
  6. Yes. Tech is the only other B12er to make it to the Final
  7. Absolutely zero chance that Baylor loses. Hand out the t-shirts and hats.
  8. I was trying to find video of the bleachers thing to respond to that comment but couldn’t find it. Do you remember what year that was?
  9. Thanks for making the point for us dumbasses. If you can't get your grades up, get your guns up!
  10. Thanks. I did some digging on my own and realized she posted that a few days after it was news. That sucks.
  11. Anybody have any word on the Celeste Taylor transfer portal news? I didn't see that coming and that is a major hit to the team. She was nails in the tournament.
  12. I am a simple man, and only hope for an offense where the opponent knows our play less than 90% of the time.
  13. Still too soon for me. Please don't bring up that painful memory. The debate here on the FEC is correct on both sides. There were some epic games with great crowds during the Penders and Barnes years. OU game in 2003 was epic, though looking it up it wasn't a true sell out. I remember TCU running laps around our floor some time in the late 1990s after beating us. Darvin Hamm nearly broke our goal in front of a raucous crowd in the late 90s. But the Erwin Center absolutely sucks as a basketball venue. It was even worse before they fixed the seating to actually square up with the court and the seating was an oval. Almost 17k is way too many for a football school like Texas. FWIW, the O Dome at UF only holds a handful over 10k. It is a great place to watch a game. It isn't lit like a movie theatre either. That has always been one of my biggest gripes about FEC is the horrific lighting. This was complete dogshit... I'm looking forward to the Moody Center opening. Living in Florida, I haven't been to a basketball game in person since 2004. I will go back to see the new arena at some point.
  14. So which one of you mother fuckers is Beard? It better not be @satyanash
  15. Please get the sweep. My only complaint about this team so far is the lack of that game three killer instinct. Our best teams have had it. I like how this team puts the kill shot together in individual games like they did in the late innings today. Give me that for game three one time.
  16. That's what we have been for over a decade. Are you not entertained?
  17. Hocutt seems like he should talk less.
  18. Hocutt better be careful flippantly tossing out lines like "the best and most passionate fan base in the country" or else he will find himself in a copyright infringement lawsuit with the Aggies while looking for a new basketball coach.
  19. From @Machinator post this morning from 247: Beard will never admit this publicly, but according to sources close to the situation, it’s been harder for Beard to lure top recruits, such as Cade Cunningham, who ended up at Oklahoma State, because Tech is an Under Armour school as opposed to a Nike school like Texas and Oklahoma State. “In basketball, how schools align with shoe companies matter,” said a source close to the situation. There’s also the ability to recruit to Austin. Texas women’s coach Vic Schaefer may be the best testimonial for that. When 6-foot-1 forward Aliyah Moore, the No. 6 prospect in the 2021 class from Moore, Okla., signed with Texas, she said Schaefer had recruited her hard to go to Mississippi State, but Moore had no interest in going to school in Starkville, Miss. As soon as Schaefer got the Texas job, he called Moore, and because he was now headed to Austin, Moore was immediately interested in joining Schaefer at UT, which she’ll do this fall.
  20. The 247 write up mentioning how Vic Schaefer wanted a 5 star that said "no thanks" to life in Starkvegas, but was all on board with signing with Vic to play in Austin seems appropriate here. Apparently the shoes matter a lot more than I would have ever guessed too.
