"I don't want to hear about affordability." -Dotard, 10 months after inauguration, after running on precisely that. Back in the before times, that would have been something that we used to call "An enormous motherfucking gaffe" and a beautiful hand-wrapped gift to democrats.
We've all grown so accustomed to Trump lying every time he opens his mouth, that he can stand in front of cameras and say that his poll numbers are the best ever, and that he ended inflation and eight wars, and no one bats an eye. Like, a president being caught in a huge lie used to be a thing. I swear I remember it. But we just expect Trump to lie now, so he does it like that above, and everyone just goes "uh huh" and moves on. It would be fascinating if it weren't so horrific.
"We're the party with the right solutions", huh. That's funny, considering y'all ran on all that shit a year ago, you control every branch of government, and haven't done shit to fix any of it.
A casual Texas fan tuning into the first game of the year would have been truly lost with all the new faces. In theory the broadcast should help with that, although in this case they didn’t really seem to think that was necessary.
I'm sure Christians wouldn't mind at all being painted with that broad of a brush.
"Hey you're a Christian, just like Donald Trump claims to be. So I can only assume that you are also a lifelong conman and 34 time convicted felon and child rapist and regular rapist?"
“You’d better do something or you will lose channels you are already paying for…. in fact, you will lose really the only channels you even use” really grinds my gears.
Trump sycophants: “President Dotard is focused on nothing else but how to pay out SNAP benefits to those in need.” Dotard this morning: “We’re not paying jack shit to those freeloaders!” Karoline Leavitt a few minutes ago: “Of course we’re going to abide by the court order to pay out SNAP benefits.” Not that I have any sympathy for anyone who chooses to work in this White House, but it’s pretty funny to watch them constantly trying to cover for him just saying whatever the hell he wants.
WR will be interesting. Of the guys currently playing, we may not lose any of them (would Moore get drafted?) I’m mentally prepared to lose two out of Lockett, Terry, and Ffrench.
I forgot a lot. Notably, the president is threatening to take away citizenship from people he doesn't like, is open trying to put his enemies in jail for only being his enemies, and also the president is talking openly about using US cities as training grounds for our military. And is seemingly trying to start a civil war. And that's the shit that just slipped my mind while writing that post. 10 months.
