  1. That performance yesterday was basically another Simms against Colorado. Except at home against UTEP and they dropped 2-3 more INTs.
  2. Grasping at straws here, but did Arch attempt some kind of Tiger Woods-ish mechanics overhaul in the offseason? And he's struggling through it now? I don't know, nothing makes sense.
  3. This is Arch's third year in the program, and he has already played a decent amount of football. His first start was a calendar year ago, and then had another after that where he was amazing.
  4. The closer the receiver is to the ball, the more likely he is to get the ball nowhere near him. The anti-Ewers.
  5. Oh Jesus, Texas-OU. Um yeah whatever it is we're gonna do at QB we need to figure it out before then. If Arch is rattled and in his own head at home against UTEP, that atmosphere in Dallas is gonna make his head explode.
  6. Mr. "We just all need to get along" Governor didn't need to bring up the trans thing there.
  7. He's just not one of our best five in the secondary, imo. We have better corners and a better nickel.
  8. Prior to that, Manning had two wide open receivers and threw to neither of them, so that he could scramble around for awhile and eventually throw an INT.
  9. Well, yeah? Not sure what the point is.
  10. I don't think it's fair to try to spike the ball there over Ewers, when this isn't the same Arch we saw playing last season.
  11. It's all confusing, but the wild inaccuracy is what gets me. We saw him play in the spring game when he should have been a senior in high school, and I'm not sure the ball ever hit the ground. Last year against Miss St, I think he had five incompletions, with two of those being drops and two being thrown away. Out of I think 41 attempts. Obviously the mechanics and footwork all play a part too. It's just bizarre.
  12. UTEP had more yards per play than Texas yesterday. Going against the Texas defense.
  13. Imagine proposing this back in June or whenever it was we brought in Caldwell. I read Nahlin swearing a couple of times that Manning didn't look like this in fall camp. It's really hard to imagine, with our offense going up against that defense every day in practice.
  14. Nahlin is talking on IT about a Georgia Tech type offense where Arch throws the ball 10 times a game. What has happened the first three games of the season is almost unbelievable. Hey guys. Did we? Did we roll them? Name the score, etc? 63-3 type game?
  15. In a shitty mood but I wonder how many people who are calling for "the backup" know his name.
  16. We have had the preseason Heisman favorite (or co-favorite?) at QB the past two seasons. Ewers was a weak link for much of last season and thus far Arch is.... yeah. I texted a friend that we have gone downhill from the days of Casey Thompson and Hudson Card. This is unimaginable.
  17. He looks like a completely different guy. Starting with the first pass against Ohio St.
  18. About five times now this season, Manning has had a completely wide ass open WR crossing in front of him.... and the ball hasn't even touched the receiver. Not like a little high, or a little behind.... the ball hasn't touched him. I have no explanation for this.
  19. Offense looks a lot like the 2010 one. I can't believe I just typed that.
  20. Very vanilla. Thru 10 quarters all TDs are by white dudes.
  21. 187 yards on 46 plays against UTEP.
  22. Sark gives weird advice sometimes. Oh good, he got booed at home against UTEP. Now he's ready to start playing.
  23. I watched Arch play an almost perfect game last year against MSU. Something is wrong, whether it's physical or something else.
  24. Not appropriate to say I'm sure, but we're still all white guys scoring TDs this season. That cannot be a good thing.
