Man I got reactions like that in the days after 1/6. "Cops were beaten for hours. Cops who were trying to defend our Capitol." "Oh please Red Five, it was nothing like that."
They should just pull themselves up by their bootstraps and earn generational wealth by playing golf. Problem solved! It's not Scottie's fault that not everyone thinks to do this.
That post above from Trump reads like something we would have made up as a joke this time a year ago. "Secretary of War, Fox news host Pete Hegseth, sending US troops to Portland, ha ha ha!".
I know some Scottie Scheffler types. He's probably a great guy, husband, and father. With an enormous blind spot for what's happening in front of his face. I really don't know what to call it, other than just profound ignorance. To say "He treats everyone like the greatest person in the world" is just Orwellian.
Matt’s was better when they would serve you those brown margaritas in essentially large bowls, with a limit of two. I think they were about 60% tequila. Those with the tacos al carbon were pretty great.
Saw a clip of Todd Blanche on Fox being asked about Trump's post to Bondi, ordering her to put his enemies in prison immediately. Blanche was like "Oh gosh no, that clearly wasn't pressure on us to indict Comey.... Golly, where would you get such an idea from? We're just trying to keep Americans safe...."
You don't know when the last time I heard it was. Maybe I recorded it and listened to it for a decade every night in a futile attempt to quiet the voices in my head telling me to do terrible things.
Anyway, quite catchy.
So would Bondi, Patel, etc. Who all went from bloodthirsty to release the files to "SHUT UP SHUT UP WE'RE NOT RELEASING SHIT SHUT UP SHUT UP" on a dime.
No kidding. I watched an SNL Weekend Update from about a decade ago awhile back, and there were ZERO political jokes. Zero. Imagine that happening now.
And growing up in the Carter/Reagan/Bush years, you would go days at a time without hearing the president's name mentioned at all. Then when you did it was like "the president signed a bill or something today. Tomorrow he goes on vacation somewhere. Anyway, let's shift to sports, where....". I would give just about anything to go back to that.
I was thinking last night, "I'm not sure if either Jude Law or Jason Bateman has made a smart decision yet through about 2.5 hours. How on Earth have they managed to live this long."
Thru three eps of Black Rabbit. This show should be called "Jude Law beats Jason Bateman to death with a tire iron and solves the vast majority of his problems."
