  1. We need to see QB improvement under Sark. Casey Thompson certainly didn't improve, and then fucked off to who cares. Hudson Card didn't, and left for Purdue where he continued being average there. I guess Ewers improved from year one to year two, but then last year was a mess. Arch looked nothing at all like he has looked up to this point, to the extent that people are wondering if there is an undisclosed injury. We are 0-4 inside a calendar year against both Georgia and Ohio St. Offensive points scored in regulation in those four games: 15, 16, 14, 7. Not all on the QB in those four games, but... mostly?
  2. I was pretty surprised that wasn’t Moore returning punts. He must have been too busy being a complete non-factor on offense.
  3. I don't think that extends to mind powers that make Arch completely miss wide open WRs. If he could hit the broad side of a barn yesterday we probably finish with about 450 yards of offense.
  4. This is the happiest I've ever seen 6th Street.
  5. Hadn't thought of it this way, but Arch yesterday looked like Hudson Card against Arkansas in 2021.
  6. It seemed like they didn't want to try anything that would get Arch in rhythm. Or anything that might make the OSU defense think for a second.
  7. He did not, and we win going away by 10+ if he had.
  8. That was not a tough environment to play in.
  9. Cross your fingers!
  10. Did the same five OL play the entire game? I don't remember seeing anyone else. Not even a rotation with Stroh and Neto was crazy. I guess that club got taken off Goosby's hand prior to the start of the game sometime.
  11. See, I don't see how this was protecting Arch. That first half looked like someone woke up our offense at 3 am sometime in May and said "go play Ohio St right now".
  12. Me, as Arch is about to take the snap: "No no no no no no fuck no fuck no!!"
  13. I went and looked it up. It was fair. Shitty, vanilla game plan that was made worse by Arch playing like shit.
  14. No, it is good to have spaces to vent. I would encourage non-affected people to avoid the football board for 12 hours after a loss.
  15. The last time we saw Arch start a game, the ball barely touched the ground over about three quarters. And when it did it wasn't his fault. And yeah it was MSU and not OSU, but he looked like a completely different guy.
  16. Well those are pretty good DBs. But I'm not sure I even agree with that. Not to oversimplify things, but if Manning can hit the fucking side of a barn we win. We almost won regardless.
  17. Went to bed thinking Trump might be dead or dying. Wake up to him playing golf, and then Manning plays so poorly that he almost single-handidly cost us a win today. I want to start this day over.
  18. That game sort of felt like a 2001 era Texas OU game.
  19. We need to stop losing close games to good teams due to QB play, in our QB whisperer offense with generational 5 star QB talent.
  20. I think we'll probably eventually look back at this and say "how the fuck did that happen?" but I absolutely have concerns.
  21. Wingo looked late, but it didn't matter because it looked like the ball bounced off his lower leg. Just a horrific throw.
  22. In fairness, the bloody mary's started very early.
  23. On that third down play in the fourth quarter, where Wingo was open around the five yard line and Manning hit him somewhere around the calf.... my friend who I was watching the game with, who is a coach, said that was by design, and it was on Wingo for not going to the ground to catch the ball. I told him repeatedly that he was insane, and that if Manning hits Wingo in the hands it's a TD. I would like confirmation please.
