  1. Oh no way that's tight.
  2. Just get better... OR, watch good players, it's what I do. PotatoMcWhiskey, SaxyGamer, PravusGaming, and FilthyRobot (doesn't play much anymore) are all the ones I will watch to learn how to play the game better. I always pick up something new here and there when watching.
  3. Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of the first part of the DLC, Elysium was cool to look at but the story didn't real me in. Really thought Hades was great and aside from the odd navigation at first for Atlantis, it was really cool to see and I enjoyed that story line. The Layla story line confused me more than anything. I assume she was affected by the staff but it felt like they kind of hit you in the face with it as I didn't feel like there was anything subtle about her transition. I agree, I enjoyed it as well. As more news comes out on Valhalla hopefully they don't do anything drastic or terrible. I still miss the old AC formula that was in Unity and Syndicate. I'm not sure which I prefer more though since the games are so different. If you had all the elements from Odyssey in Unity, would I prefer that game or how Unity currently is? Legacy of the First Blade was more of the same for DLC. I enjoyed the story and characters for the most part. The one thing that stood out were some technical and consistency issues. References to things that I hadn't done or choices I didn't/hadn't make/made. Characters not being present at all in cut scenes so the dialog never was spoken (that was really odd). Cut scenes seemingly starting at odd points and dialogue being spoken over one another. At first I though, oh cool it's like a heated conversation where one person cuts the other off, nope it was definitely a glitch. Still enjoyed the hell out of this game and I know why, I could tell I was a bit saddened by finishing the game and ending the tale of the protagonist. Or the sense of dread when something happens to the protagonist. Not too many games really evoke that type of emotion but this one did a great job of it. I hope as far as story and those little character hooks, they keep up the same level they set in Odyssey. I think I need to mention, I played as Kassandra the whole way through. I don't think I would have cared nearly as much if I had played as Alexios, but I would be interested in seeing the differences in the cut scenes in the DLC. I'll just look it up on YouTube.
  4. Aren't we glad Nill didn't sell the farm to make any drastic moves?
  5. I went to Leroy and Lewis to pick up food for my birthday. I've known Evan a while now, went to high school with Emily. I hope they're able to stay open. They had plans for a brick and mortar store but timing wise it's probably best they're in a trailer for all this.
  6. More information will be announced tomorrow at 10AM CST in a video on youtube on Ubisoft's channel. I finally finished AC Odyssey; only have the DLC left to play. I played as Kassandra and I fucking loved this game. I enjoyed it much more than Origins and thought that they did an excellent job improving on the things they tried to do with Origins in nearly every way. If they can keep this trend going I'm excited for what's to come with Valhalla.
  7. Play your games after work?
  8. What about completely ditching the % to less carry weight and lockpick and hacking perks? I think it would feel better if you equipped one version of the card (let's be honest everyone takes these cards exploring solo) and through some elaborate quest chain or something you upgrade the card to higher tiers. Same kind of goes with equipping 9 cards to increased Big Guns or Melee damage. If it was just 3 cards fine but having to equip 9 (or is it 12) just feels like we're stuck. I get that you make sacrifices if you're trying to min/max your build but I think having to commit to 9+ cards to get the most out of your preferred weapon eliminates or at least stunts player ingenuity and experimentation with completely different and radical builds (to a degree).
  9. Obviously Judas wasn't there when this was done but wow I seriously didn't even think anything of it when I played through the entire story.
  10. The writers that okay-ed that need a talking to. Holy shit how did the entire BoS story line in F76 get erased from my mind randomly? I guess I never even questioned it while playing the game. Based on Taggerdy's story, someone with more knowledge than me in radio, how did she make radio contact with Maxson after nuclear fallout?
  11. I'm against the BoS being in the game. They were founded in California how many years after the bombs fell? They didn't even try to head east until much later. Unless my timeline is completely wrong it just doesn't make sense to have them in Appalachia.
  12. I don't think any game in the series will ever match the desolate and hopeless atmosphere of the original fallout.
  13. Since school is cancelled now think the inventory will start to tick up at all now or not until after things start to open up again?
  14. Yeah no kidding. He's really losing his shit over this. Does he know that Fenves is the University President and not the actual President of America? Maybe that's where the confusion and hurt is.
  15. Hot take I think Jordie Benn in place of Polak makes the team better. Nevermind just realized Polak is a righty. Finding one of those D is like a left handed pitcher.

    Fuck both teams.
  17. I'll manage but I am going to miss watching us not score even strength goals. Some kind soul put a playlist of a bunch of Stars games together on YouTube.
  18. I don't know their financials and they've been doing well as far as I know. I just never ask if they are in a rough spot or not. But I cannot imagine that a month or so like this will be good. I do worry about the number of people they employ though, that won't be good for them.
  19. Check out Plasmo on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC53hZgZPlQmKWFRFSpxbSxw
  20. My friend owns the Brewtorium. This is... not good for them. Granted they can do food to go and crowlers to go so reasonably they could continue operation but, I cannot imagine a scenario where they aren't going to have some trouble.
