    Jedi Survivor

Well I just realized I can't run this in my old xbone and in I've been holding out on getting the newer console until the elite version eventually comes out. I may end up getting this for PC after all.

I'll probably get this on console even though my desktop would run it far better... after that day 1 patch I assume.

JK2, I think the biggest thing that stands out is the first two missions compared to the rest of the game. The game takes off once you get your lightsaber and force powers.
  4. Also, seeing Kevin Hatcher on that list... like what?
  5. Yeah he clarified in Dallas
  6. Starting to see some reports of Ukrainian attacks on the southern front, probably not the counter offensive everyone is expecting, possibly probing attacks, maybe a trial run of what's coming in a few weeks.

    lol that looks amazing
  8. Well I can already tell it's still going to be hard after 4 hours.
  9. It's weird having the Wild broadcast on ESPN
  10. Pretty sure Jamie Benn beat the shit out of Reeves in one of their bouts. Don't know why these announcers still think Reeves is throwing down and this unstoppable force.
  11. they keep talking about the stick so.... double minor? late hit and high sticking?
  12. Haven't chimed in all season, mostly because fuck you bally sports but hey I can watch playoffs. Also as soft as some of these calls have been, how the fuck do you not call that a major?, Late hit and the defender is rising into the player? Fucking bullshit.
  13. Agreed. News seems slightly slower, but it could just be coincidence.
  14. I read a book recently, Team of Teams by Gen (Ret) McCrystal One thing he mentioned was, breaking down the silos that existed between organizations as it lead to intelligence being stagnant by time it could be acted upon. The detriment was your intelligence was widely accessible by a lot of people, but the benefits were you could act quickly on leads. I wonder if the information available was to support this endeavor and that is why this person happened to be and to access it.
  15. I don't get it, my appraisal went down, but my tax value they want to increase is the max at 10%. ...anyone have good contacts of someone that will fight this? I tried fighting it last year but the online form was confusing and then they scheduled a meeting date for a time I was unavailable and I couldn't change it. I would prefer not to do another 10% increase this year.
  16. I thought this was a brand new article but it looks like the one from Feb, surprised we didn't already post it. I'm curious what big changes they will focus on. One of the lead developers had a currency mod brought to their attention a couple months ago with people asking to implement it as a financial victory endgame. I believe the basis of the mod is, or works similar to how religion does and your win condition is to get 66% of the world using your currency. I know, I'm light on details. I don't know that my wish list ever changes a whole lot, but I would love to see a truly multi thread game so those late game turns are still fast. It could also help with larger maps. I don't think I ever attempted a game on anything larger than Standard size for civ 6 because every turn took forever after a while. I would love to see a combined arms approach to armies rather than multiple of the same kind. For example, if I add an archer and spearman as an army then they would have ranged attack but also retain a good defensive bonus, especially against cavalry. I'm excited to see what they come up with. I think Civ 6 was infinitely more enjoyable out of the gate than Civ 5 was. Civ 5 got there, but it took two expansions. I prefer the art style of Civ 5, the stylized, almost cartoony style of Civ 6 never grabbed me. I think the gameplay of Civ 6 was better, of course I say that but the meta was always chop down every tree for the early game production bonus.
  17. That photo in the snow is shopped as hell. Look at the body in the lower right and notice how it's nearly identical to the body in the upper right but reversed.
  18. Something I totally forgot to mention the first week of beta. I ran into The Butcher randomly in a dungeon. I guess he has a chance to appear in dungeons. Yes he absolutely annihilated me.
  19. I think someone described it as D3 2.0 and it's not an inaccurate assessment. I mentioned it earlier, a lot of the systems from the end of D3 were brought over and I think they did a fairly decent job of it. Will the game have longevity and will the loot drop gameplay loop keep us coming back? We'll see.
  20. I played the beta this past weekend. Out of the gate, this experience was better than my memories of my experience with D3 at launch. I think overall it felt a little slower story wise, but the world felt pretty vast. We'll see how the story holds up, you really don't get enough into it in the beta, just the premise. There was no horse travel in the beta, or there was and I didn't play enough to unlock it. I can't see why it's needed because the maps do feel pretty large. There's a lot of systems from the end of D3 in here, such as acquiring a legendary affix to add to a different weapon. I think I enjoyed that in D3 but I also feel like I'll need more hand holding in the new game with it. The intro quests to these systems were very much click a dialogue box, read, and you're done. You can acquire these affixes by running dungeons on the world. The dungeons show you what affix you will get. The world events, dungeons, open world stuff all felt pretty good. I don't know if I like the menus, it seemed a little cluttered and unintuitive at times. Customization was pretty good. The combat felt pretty good. It felt a lot more impactful (played as a barb) and "punchy." I thought the audio was pretty great as well albeit a tad bass heavy. Think listening to a song on beats headphones. I think the monsters and environments and art looked solid. My first impression of it was positive compared to my first impression playing a D3 beta, which was "different." I think they're doing another beta this weekend or next so I may try it out again. I only played Barb although rogue and sorceress were available as well. Maybe this next beta will include druid and Necro.
  21. Oh wait, there's more...
