  1. I love it. They are crushed and don't see a future that improves. It's gotta hurt to acknowledge the gap in execution, talent and coaching. It reminds me of a dark decade and makes the sooner tears better. Can't wait to see the Georgia follow-up radio shows next week!
  2. Literally losing to aggy leads your coach to be fired. I doubt Napier gets fired losing to a decent team but just like us, you can't lose to a doormat at home. Aggy is their Kansas.
  3. That's where I'm at. Probably a left of center moderate pre Trump, I'm now a straight ticket Dem for every office and will be until there's widespread condemnation of maga by the Rs.... Which is likely at least another 10 years away.
  4. Awww, thanks, appreciate it. It's not often I get to watch a trainwreck in real time... Was it walz? Did he break you?
  5. Donated. And I'm going to donate every week until the election is won. As an independent never trumper who has watched the Dems fuck up a lot, thank God they got this right. And it's about goddamn time we elected a woman (and Indian). Thank you Joe Biden for doing what almost no one else would do in his situation. You're a true patriot. Now let's fucking go.
  6. Honestly love the off-season. We've shored up some deficiencies, drafted the guy I think most likely to make an all star team in castle, picked up draft capital, and supplemented with low cost backups. Let's see what next year holds and obviously setting expectations low but I could see us approaching 40 wins with some luck.
  7. I mean, that's a good thought... Or maybe, just maybe, he's completely making up interest from fake people. Just like the have fake army credentials, they also have fake journalist credentials. Aggy as a collective is blissfully stupid and able to create entire false narratives which the masses will parrot because it fits how they want to perceive the world and their place in it. It's a desperate narcissism born of incredible insecurity.
  8. Best pick in this draft was at #4....I hope... Though you're probably right. Hindsight always 20/20 and don't have to look back that far to see how badly you can miss on high picks. Imagine if Brown/Tatum were sixers or Lakers or if Atlanta drafted Luka.
  9. Thank you for summarizing the streams. Definitely appreciated!
  10. Fair Hopefully that's what we'll use it for not historically we haven't been aggressive in FA. But maybe that changes with Wemby.
  11. Wtf. 2030? What are we thinking? I could see 2025 protected and 2026 unprotected...
  12. Really hoping for castle at 4 and best available at 8. Honestly the draft is such a crapshoot this year Holland wouldn't be a bad gamble. I feel like most years there aren't that many sure things and this year is worse than most. I'd also be happy with Sheppard. Otherwise it's a bunch of guys who seem to project at best as number 2/3 guys on a playoff team. Part of me wonders about trading for a young proven point guard but I doubt you get a guy like Fox with our picks
  13. He's killing this press conference. Basically defused all the press conference stuff while staying positive towards Aggy while letting slip that it's obvious Texas is better. All we need is for our coaches to win but it's nice when they can conduct themselves with aplomb. Poor OB. You can feel the butthurt coming off him in waves...
  14. Don't worry Jim. At Texas we like dancing women. Hell, we even have women romancing each other.....
  15. Same. I hope it doesn't make the sea levels rise
  16. The benefit of cognitive dissonance is that it doesn't matter what reality is....aggy can still deny it. I will say, it's hard to believe that the players will all come over but good on them if they do. Part of maturation is realizing it's time to leave a cult and most employers will now know that aggy is basically like going to ACC to get extra credits before transferring to Texas.
  17. Love the thread. This is a great screen cap from there
  18. It's so beautiful. Sometimes I think we as a fan base deserve being called arrogant. Then CDC does this and I realize we aren't arrogant, we're just better. Couldn't dial up a better script. After years of futility, they have almost seized success and we upstage them both on that day and the next. It sucks being little brother, doesn't it? Can't wait until our coach says, "yes, they offered me a ton of money and I almost won the championship but have you seen BCS?"
  19. I love that Texas is featured in the cover pic. They know we're going to keep loading up on quality coaches.... Maybe one of them can teach our dbs how to play man
  20. Agreed. This is a weak draft because there are no sure things, not because there is no potential. I'm fine trading one or both pics for a proven young player but otherwise, more lottery tickets are better than less. Hopefully our two will net two starters that are playoff caliber.
  21. Are you saying going to buc-ees doesn't count? And 300 lb water buffalo Katy suburban housewives aren't co-eds? You sir have too high standards
  22. This is the way. Cdc has crushed every hire other than basketball (no real choice after the tourney run) and football (not really involved though obviously going well). We are at worst a top 3 job, with strong nil support that will only increase if you have a coach who isn't widely perceived as an asshole. We're fucking Texas and CDC isn't Patterson. From what I hear, he's always got a running list and this season didn't come out of nowhere. He's got his top two guys or his clear number one. And if history is an indication, we won't know until right before it happens.
  23. It'll be an interesting series. Boston has played down to the competition this playoff and Dallas has gelled at the right time. Luka keeps getting better as the playoffs progress and Kyrie is good Kyrie for now. As a Celtics fan (2nd team after the Spurs), it comes down to 3 factors. 1) KP health 2) can anyone on the Celtics force Luka into a couple bad games? He's a matchup nightmare and the Celtics tend to be long and lean. Not a lot of bigger heavier bodies. 3) can Tatum find his 3 point stroke? He's done all the other things but if he can't hit consistently from deep they go through droughts on offense that will kill them against Dallas I've hated Dallas for years but I have to say, this Dallas team is fun to watch. Didn't really expect them to dismantle Denver and really hard to predict. My heart says Celtics in 6, my head says Dallas in 6. Thankfully I've been consistently wrong on the Western conference this entire playoffs
