  1. I've heard this a lot but I have to say the one game I went to in Morgantown we were treated really well and tailgated with wvu fans. Then again, I know the ones who actually have jobs and live in DC so maybe there's some selection bias
  2. Texas to the cockroaches. There's literally nothing redeeming about either school. Enjoy sliding back into mediocrity.
  3. Tcu gets it Just quoting this to point out the rare almost self aware aggy. Vanderbilt is an actual academic institution with a fine baseball program in a nice town. Aggy will be Arkansas. Also @texifornia thanks for doing God's work. It's hard to decipher what language is being spoken at times but we'll need to acclimate back to dealing with little brother again and this helps.
  4. Poor Aggy.... Big brother is coming....
  5. I've been dcaing in on projects I like and have less then I want in. Vet, dot, algo, btc, link, sol, uni, enj, matic. Eth is still my biggest bag. Ymmv but my time horizon is 4 years and I expect I'll be happy I took advantage of the low prices
  6. I think that's Tim Beck, the former Pitt St coach, as an analyst. I don't think Tim Beck from NC State is coming over, though, i could be out of the loop.
  7. Aggy is a special type of stupid. They use **** in place of shit yet throw around homophobic slurs like they are 10 year old boys living in 1970. I know there are smart Aggies, but they must not frequent any of the message boards. It's fine to be clueless. It's the rampant bigotry and butchering of the English language that's troubling. Anyways, I'm for the delicious tears that are forthcoming.
  8. He'll likely do it Miller's sophomore season. Huge pickup!
  9. Just dropping by to say how proud I am of the team. Tough way to go out but this team battled the whole way. My 7 year old saw her first Texas baseball game this year so all she knows is that we go to Omaha. Here's to getting back soon.

  11. This is good advice. I would add, research other projects and try to have a little diversification. BTC/ETH should form the majority of your holdings but there should be some allocation to good projects that various certain niches (VET, MATIC, DOT, LINK, ENJ, COMP as a few examples). Personally, I think that if you felt left out because you didn't invest in January and are willing to hold for longer then 6 months, you'll do very well entering crypto right now. I view most of my investments in crypto on a 10 year timeline, with the idea to take some profits if returns exceed my expectations and to rebalance my overall portfolio.
  12. And the fees are a fraction of coinbase. You can still use coinbase to look at charts if you prefer, as well as to vault and stake. Transfers between are free.
  13. I assume askew, jones, Allen, disu, Mitchell Bishop, ramey with heavy (near starter) minutes
  14. Look, Laramie is going to get his money, don't you worry.... His friend Tunmise will be jealous as I doubt texags will be as savvy about nil
  15. @Bitterwhiteguy really trying to live up to the name, huh? Sometimes it's okay to be wrong and just be a fan. And if you're going to err, do so on the side of optimism. It must be a fucking beating being you...
  16. I think voyager is a better platform if you are wanting to earn interest/stake. DOT has better return on kraken, ETH is similiar but there are a ton more that offer higher interest, including btc at 6.25% (up to7.25% with interest booster), plus it easily links to bank account via ACH, is publicly traded, has a reward system/interest booster via it's native token, and has a decent variety of coins available. Biggest issue they've had is dealing with increased subscribers so it takes a while to get approved. PM if you want a referral code. I finally got off the wait list for ETH staking on coinbase. Took forever. A buddy of mine who has been on since 2013 and told me about the wait list is still waiting. No rhyme or reason.
  17. not sure about kraken but if you are on coinbase, here are some suggestions. As always, do your own research. These are coins I own personally. I like to break them down into groupings/functions. I also assume you own the majority of your portfolio in ETH/BTC. Link and Band as cross chain oracles Compound/AAVE for interest (I have more in compound personally) ADA/Matic/ATOM/Algo as ETH competitors/facilitators. UNI as liquidity provider XLM as currency (XRP not available on coinbase) UMA - potential derivatives vehicle ENJ - I think that's on coinbase now, not sure, NFTs/gaming That gives a few things to look at if you want. Again, do your research. For my alts, I look to have broad exposure and long term outlooks. That's paid off handsomely in some cases (LINK/ATOM/MATIC/ENJ have all been 4X +). Others have barely moved and/or lost money. My only alt from 2017 that did anything was BAT and I would have been better off just having left that in BTC. You are still better off primarily in ETH/BTC, imo. However, I'm a conservative investor in general so take it for what it's worth.
  18. It all depends on what you're looking to do. I think their approach of serving as a facilitator of ETH instead of as a direct competitor makes sense and they have amazing transaction utility in terms of fee structure...I also think it's still undervalued. I have a large stack of MATIC but I also have other ETH competitors and ETH itself.
  19. I signed up for the wait list more then 2 months ago...smh.
  20. I've always had my largest stake in ETH. I think MATIC and DOT are nicely setting themselves up as facilitators of ETH being the dominant player instead of direct competitors. Then again, I also own a little ADA, Algo, and ATOM, though smaller bags. I had viewed 6-8K likely for ETH but with ETH2 and coinbase hopefully finally getting staking going, I think you'll see even more institutional demand and 10K may indeed be possible. Fingers crossed.
  21. One option for slightly more hands off real estate are syndications/funds. Allows you to buy geographically diverse properties to benefit from arbitrage and avoid any one market getting overpriced. Also allows you to get into multifamily, storage and commercial without crazy high minimums. I use mlg capital, mainly because they've been around long enough to weather bad cycles. Everyone makes money in a bull real estate economy. There are others but definitely sure your due diligence. You do get some of the tax benefits that real estate provides, including depreciation and the ability to 1031 exchange at sale. I can understand the aversion to crypto, though I think given the gains and the future, having a 1-5% allocation is a good hedge. While volatile, I feel a lot better in that space compared to an equities market that defies all reasonable metrics. If you do, read and consider a small investment in the "large caps". Btc/eth. Hard money loans are another way to make money. It usually requires a decent amount of capital to get access and there is variable risk/lock up of your money but with construction booming, something to consider. As always, do your own diligence, read, etc. This isn't financial advice....
  22. He's kinda become the basketball version of that idiot from bon...wescot something. Beard may fail. Early returns and history suggest otherwise but ultimately if you're a fan of texas, why be a whiny cunt? Maybe try approaching life with a little bit of optimism and enthusiasm? What's the point of being a fan if your entire outlook is pessimistic? It's not even like we fired a somewhat successful coach and replaced him with a spare. Shaka Smart was terrible. Why die on this hill? Bwg seems like the kind of guy to bitch about taxes after winning the lottery...
  23. Huge, now just need Sims to stay and another ball handler.
