  1. Rolling a small position with you on SPSO.
  2. An old product of mine was white labeled by Deloitte so I worked really closely with a big team of theirs. Sales guys, analysts, and product managers. They all seemed pretty happy with it. Most of them were workaholics and it did seem like most of them put in pretty big hours - but didn't seem to mind. So if you're a work/life balance guy you might dig into that a bit.
  3. It was a miracle that we were in the game, but that doesn't change that Pop and Patty fucked it up and it sucks.
  4. PFMS actually doing something green is a first at least.
  5. You guys getting HEB appointments, are those appointments saying open to 1A/1B only? Or are they just general public?
  6. If anyone ever asks me why Patty never got a chance to be the primary #1 ball handler on a team throughout his entire career, I'll show them that clip. Low BBIQ play. Dribble yourself into a double team near the corner with four seconds on the clock. Fucking terrible. The ball should have been in DJ's hands on that play. He is by far the best player on the team not named Derozan. And he's been decisive and intentional with the ball this year. Blind loyalty to vets costs Pop one. Shitty loss. Fuck. First loss that's actually pissed me off in awhile.
  7. What even is this starting lineup. Jesus. DJ is about to score 60.
  8. Solid offering here. They did a pretty good job with the balance, it's not overwhelming. Shiner bock with a caramel undertone and a sweeter aftertaste. And 9% alcohol.
  9. Exited XMET during that little bounce, caught it kinda near the top. Not sure what to do with PFMS. Even through all of this my Surly ETF is up about 7% in three weeks. Mostly due to AMYZF, with RXMD pitching in a bit.
  10. I've had two separate friends recently tell me they'll take the J&J shot only, because it's a more traditional dead virus vaccine. Interesting given that there's been some chatter about people not wanting to take J&J because the perception is that it's not as effective. I expect the J&J rollout to go just fine. Lots of people like that, lots of young people who won't care, and then there are going to be plenty of people who get a note from their CVS or doctor that their vaccine is ready and don't even know the difference between the three.
  11. Early 2000s IT job (my first professional job) I'd drive from Bridgepoint by the 360 Bridge to either Alltex or Fry's anytime we needed a part. I'd always turn it into like a 4 hour lunch usually with a trip to the range at Golfsmith. Good times.
  12. @drt are you a lawyer? I believe we've established that that makes you 1A and you should have already been vaccinated.
  13. Very possibly. I believe there are also a lot of minorities in the lower-end healthcare roles like techs and assistants too. At least from what I've seen here in Texas. I do believe the majority of them will end up getting it. The health workers that I know that haven't taken it yet, which is quite a few, almost all say they'll eventually get it.
  14. I'm 39 with no comorbidities and I'm getting my first shot Friday. But I'm an asshole so you'll have to make your own morality judgement.
  15. I've experienced the healthcare worker thing anecdotally, especially the techs and assistants. I bet our doctors would say they've seen the same thing.
  16. If you play this right you can have the house to yourself for three weeks.
  17. That sucks. Those are the people that are really going to be the victims of the anti-vax idiocy.
  18. Every time ya'll get mad at Manchin just keep in mind that when he retires or dies, he's going to be replaced by someone like Lauren Boebert.
  19. LOL. My whole damn in-law train is coming through the house this weekend because they've all been vaccinated or had Covid and recovered. I'm going to smoke a pork butt overnight Friday, stick it in the oven to hold until lunch for them, and go play golf.
  20. I don't understand the separate bank account thing. As long as you can account for where the money went, you're ok. For me I just feel like it'd make it easier if I'm ever audited and I have a business savings account that sits around basically unused so why not. I realize that at my level of funding the chances of me being audited are near-zero, but might as well keep it clean and easy just in case. I think I have PTSD from buying our house. I move a ton of money around between accounts pretty often for various reasons and I had to write a letter to the underwriter explaining every single transaction. I had to write a letter for a $1500 deposit I made after a successful Vegas trip. So now I try to keep my money movement as clean and explainable as possible.
