  1. Everyone is fawning over bama winning the “best game in 40 years” or whatever. It was a freaking video game where each team looked like crap at time. My guess is that the winner was going to jump us no matter what. when we beat GA by 14, will they give us the bump over Bama?
  2. Don’t know but I have a similar situation so interested in replies. Recent annual physical had glucose within normal ranges at 94 but my A1C was 5.7 just outside the normal range. My doc labeled this as prediabetic. The only advice I got was to eat healthier and exercise more. I’ve been relatively sedentary lately. And put on about 10 lbs this year.
  3. I hope Biden is overwhelming southeastern residents who need immediate and long term help from the hurricane. Obviously this is a minimum expectation of the fed govt especially fema but there needs to be no peep that some are not getting the legitimate help to get back on their feet. Hell I would even help out with illegitimate needs. and financially encourage social media people to post what they’re seeing from the federal govt.
  4. Another element of that picture tells me that Trump doesn’t have any real friends. Setting aside the 2 AL senators, Trump was most likely asked who else would he like to see at the game. The best he could do is Kid Rock, Herschel, Hank Williams and John Daly. of course Trump is about appearances and he thinks his audiences look at them as major stars. I wouldn’t spit at them but if I was in the same area as them, I would have zero interest in interacting with them on any level.
  5. At one point Trump must have turned to Britt, with a “Honey, get me a Diet Coke.”
  6. Americas finest at the GA-Bama game. John Daly is hanging around there too. I would like to hear more about whose suite it is. I would bet that it’s a rich bama alum who is having legal or regulatory problems with the feds,
  7. Some here seem annoyed that some polls show trump ahead in swing states. I want more polls to show that. We need to motivate Dems and anti-Trump republicans to show up to vote.
  8. If this holds for NE, it’s safe to say that NE will change the electoral college process for 2028 and looking forward to redrawing that district in 2031.
  9. Yes the Bible in every OK classroom must be a grift. There’s always some billionaire Christian who steps up to fund something like this. But that rich person would donate the Bibles not give the money.
  10. Is the Robinson burn hospitalization story the start of an excuse to quit? I have to think that someone will offer him straight cash to quit since his campaign has the potential to cost trump the WH. could be the best money that the Trump side can spend.
  11. Low point for even Carlson by putting someone this mentally ill on his stage and profiting from it.
  12. The Trump comms/strategy people understand Trumps’s weakness so they counter it by saying each of his weak points are Harris’ weak points. Then the rubes eat it up and spread it as facts while they’ve listened to nothing from Harris.
  13. Kirby ice house is conquering Houston. Mixed feelings about it as it may take down smaller bars but that’s business.
  14. Now we learned why Ryan Walters, OK school commissioner, previously attempted to redirect money away from school safety projects. Now that the money has rightfully gone back to its legislative purpose of safety, Walters is forced to ask the state legislators for $3m to add to another $3m to buy new king James bibles for every OK classroom. https://www.kgou.org/education/2024-09-26/oklahoma-superintendent-ryan-walters-wants-to-spend-6-million-on-classroom-bibles we are not far from some southern states only teaching the Bible. Mike Johnson has said as much that you only need to read the Bible to know how the country should be run.
  15. Harris needs to find a way to target ads to red/independent voters who have decent sized stock portfolios. Those voters can complain about egg or gas prices but they can't deny that they've never been wealthier due to the stock market. Harris shouldn't take credit for the stock market but rather tie it into the question are you better off now than from under Trump. This question would give some voters pause.
  16. Hopefully GA goes to Harris as well even though it's like a stretch this year. Since GA is led by the GOP it creates chaos in some circles about how to blame the GA GOP when Trump loses.
  17. There are some GOP politicians that I believe are incredibly smart but they play dumb in support of GOP platforms and in talking to their constituency. Then we have James Comer who is very unintelligent.
  18. bump. Was talking to my PCP about this topic today. I'm having my numbers tested but I mentioned to him a few recent (year long) symptoms (low energy, low drive, can't lose weight) and his response was that it's part of aging. And that going on TRT was a lifetime commitment so he didn't recommend it. I'm mid 50s. I'm on the fence about following his advice or requesting a urology referral. Oddly, he said that I would feel better if I went on TRT. Isn't feeling better part of health? I've heard some docs talk up Kyzatrex or other oral testosterone replacements. Supposed to be a more steady flow of testosterone with potentially fewer negative side effects than injections. I believe cost can be a factor but a quick search estimates $200 per month for my plan. Some of the other pills were looking to be $800/mo on my plan. Does anyone have experience with them?
  19. Trump will be at the GA-Bama game. He won't spend time with GA students other than having a few come to his suite. Trump is not the type to walk a campus.
  20. Between Walz and Gretchen, I think MI is getting locked up. I'm not saying to ignore MI but we need more attention on PA. And definitely keep spending time in Omaha. Crazy how that it could be the tipping point.
  21. Dems are cool when their corrupt or problematic leaders move on. Obviously sometimes they're stuck (Sen. Menendez) but they at least tell them to resign.
  22. Right. Today they’re not only having to think about a possible ridiculous tariff, they have to consider that Trump may try to paint them as anti-America even more so than actual foreign brands. its Trump style. When he senses a possible weakness in someone and it can benefit him, he bullies them. Hence why he always refused to pay his suppliers and contractors who needed the payments. Then it’s time to renegotiate. And if you never need that vendor again, don’t even bother negotiating just never pay.
  23. Finally caught On the Waterfront a month ago. One viewing was enough.
  24. Another anti-business aspect of Trump is his unpredictability. I guarantee business leaders, even those who have vocally supported Trump, hate that they have zero idea what random Trump tweet can hurt their business. And once Trump has made a proclamation he cannot walk back a mistake no matter even if he privately realizes he was wrong.
