  1. They cover her campaign well for the algorithm that feed people who are already going to be voting for her. its a mistake to not go on Rogan.
  2. Not really. I think she should go onto whether she’s previously said no, or still considering it. There’s a good chance that Rogan is voting for Harris. He’s on the record as being pro choice and definitely not anti lgbt. At least relative to his audience. He's argued with guests about gay marriage and gay couples adopting.
  3. The post not endorsing is solely due to the fact that Trump would harm Amazon if the Post endorses Harris. This is why it’s best to have independent news sources and not one dependent on a fascist president.
  4. Harris should go onto the Rogan podcast. Sure most of his listeners are trumpers but Rogan himself isn’t. And given the size of his audience, there is a benefit if 0.5% of them change their vote or stay home. there is nothing Rogan could ask her that would harm her campaign.
  5. It’s going to blow your mind when Minute Maid Park changes it name before next season.
  6. I doubt Crane, Fertita, and McNair would give the green light to use Minute maid, UH or NRG.
  7. Not saying they should get out but I believe that are still up to 4 Manson Family members in CA prisons including Tex Watson.
  8. There would be an GOP uprising to kick out a Dem congressman for saying this same thing. Instead there will be little outrage which further empowers anti-Americans like Andy Harris.
  9. My annual Washpo subscription was up in mid November. I had previously decided to keep it until today’s news. Just cancelled it.
  10. While it's nice of the election judges to bring jackets for voters to put over their tshirts, f that. There should be a sign out front that says no campaign tshirt, etc., and willfully ignoring that law will result in your arrest.
  11. Definitely consider a setup with 2 monitors or at least one large monitor. In guessing your age you don't want to be working on a tiny laptop screen with the built-in keyboard. And if you're working from the same spot at home, why not look at a desktop.
  12. good story but we had differing tasks. I was specifically a GOTV caller and told not to go off script for any reason. I had 15 minutes of training, and sat at home on my computer and phone. I called into a system that dialed out, and I just spoke to whomever answered. I was only calling people that Beto's campaign felt were his potential voters but most likely hadn't early voted yet. Most hung up on me or told me to f-off.
  13. It's LAPD that we're talking about. and they weren't black.
  14. As mentioned, there is zero dispute that they murdered their parents. Then they partied like rock stars with the inheritance. They're famously in the background of Mark Jackson's NBA trading card right after the murders. They bought floor seats for a Laker game. I don't know what hold an alleged abusive parent can hold over a child, but I think they were 19 and 21 at the time they murdered their parents. According Wikipedia, they bought the guns and two days later shot their parents while the parents were watching TV. After going out for dinner and a movie, they returned home to find that no one had called the cops. So they called the police crying how they found their parents shot. They were arrested 6 months later.
  15. Other people serve much less time for murder. 30+ years is not a slap on the wrist. As for any sexual abuse from their father, who knows.
  16. The campaigns would actually agree with you 100%. The last thing they want to do is pay for targeting an ad to someone who has already voted. Waste of their resources. It's the tech and ad industry that is dragging their feet. EDIT: Makes me wonder if you mark that you've voted on Facebook, does that remove the ads? And actually this could work out well for Facebook as well. It makes targeted ads to the unvoted much more valuable. But then again it might be one of the demographic components that cannot be used in ad targeting.
  17. Is your concern that they're asking/paying for legal help when it's not necessary or of the amounts involved? I had a family member that was being emotionally abused by another relative that led to financial abuse. When I stepped in, and spoke to the small town bank, their informal comment was that they were worried there was something going on. But not worried enough to tell anyone! When my mom started rapidly failing mentally, I was lucky that she readily agreed to give up access to her accounts. I always told that I would help her buy whatever she needed as long as it wasn't impacting her long term financial needs. Then I stuck her in a cheap nursing home and bought a boat. (just kidding)
  18. I'm late to this news but I didn't realize that Trump turned over most of the GOTV work to Turning Point USA. As they were failing at it, except in parts of AZ, Trump's campaign handed the reins over to Elon. I feel much more confident that Elon won't be able to handle the job either, at least in the short term.
  19. Too many Texans are apathetic about voting. I helped with some Beto phone banks in 2018. That experience left me disheartened. My role wasn’t even to convince them to vote for Beto. It was only to see if they planned to vote and direct them where to find voting locations. After 90 minutes I never once got to the voting location part of the script.
  20. Tom Jarriel from ABC News. You couldn’t have watched the news from the 70s-90s and not recognized him. He was one of those news announcers that you might not know his name but his voice and face were familiar. learned his first job was Krpc in Houston.
  21. I respect all veterans even if I disagree with them on politics. But there a a few of them who immediately want you to know their veteran status so you have to thank them for their service. reminds me when you are talking to a random woman. You have absolute zero interest in her but the second sentence out of her mouth includes a reference to her boyfriend. Cool but I wasn’t going to ask for your number in a million years.
  22. Given the lack of oversight, I see the biggest poly market risk is just not getting paid, or they unilaterally decide the election has too many red flags to resolve it. Then you just get a refund. Predict It at least has a history of paying off based on the official results. The payout may take longer than you want but you can always sell a winning ticket to someone ok with the low arbitrage profit.
  23. He will use “reports of widespread early voting cheating by Harris’ Marxist allies and illegal aliens” as a get out the vote tactic and cover for when he loses.
  24. Apple and other streaming platforms are missing out by not offering a no-election ad option for $10.
