  1. I think the only real competition is corporate suite etc. buyers. I'd love to see the numbers 2018 vs 2019 for AAA 500 and USGP. AAA has been declining big time, from what I've seen, in both suite and commoner butts and we know that USGP has been dropping throughout the years. As far as die hard fans, there probably isn't much crossover. The people that I know that love NASCAR, can't spell F1. I go to both, but only when I get to not be GA, I'm not paying for GA in either, I don't care that much. I like things that go fast, but I don't budget for the races (I know, I'm not the target market for either). I should have talked to my vendor about their suite at Texas because this may be their last visit there as a sponsor, but I already had the F1 weekend all set aside in my, and my wife's, mind. I'll be at COTA around 8am Sat and Sun to catch the support races.
  2. Getting my schedules and all printed out (for a guy that works in technology, I don't trust it). Definitely taking 2 chairs this year: 1 to leave at the RV site and 1 to leave at the viewing platform so I don't have to carry back and forth. Always a concern if I'm going to get gifted parking, so going back through my links. Danny And Carmen's Parking I parked at D&C for Indy. Right on Elroy road, maybe a 100 yards to the back of Lot T. Was a great location, easy in and out, had no complaints. $20 for Friday or Saturday, $30 for Sunday. $61 for all weekend. They say they are getting low on spots for Sunday, not sure how true that is, but that Fri and Sat have lots available. Joe O's parking Right by D&C, $30/day for this weekend. $90 for Friday-Sunday.
  3. This version of NASCAR is probably not going to do great at COTA, it's way down on horsepower. Those straights and the run up to turn 1 are probably going to look like molasses.
  4. Stewart Making Stock Car Return at COTA What I haven't seen is if the track will be open so we can watch, because I would go.
  5. What I don't get is the win at all costs that the townspeople seem to be taking in regard to Briles and his cheatin ways. Someone else would have started as the QB had the two boys not moved 1000 miles to tiny Mount Vernon. I wonder what that player's parents think about them. The people in MV are either pretty slow (highly likely) or had to have known that bringing CAB would bring the circus to town.
  6. Maybe, except for that whole securities fraud shit he's got going on. I'm not sure how that might play into the performance art.
  7. What's the tie between the new pac and epstein? Any chance he meets the same end as the other epstein?
  8. I don't want him, I would much rather have Gates come back. But, with his college roommate as chancellor, it's possible.
  9. Circuit of The Americas Adds Kool & the Gang to Formula 1 USGP Weekend Music Lineup Sunday Night
  10. If you only focus on the front, it usually sucks. All the good stuff is usually in the middle towards rear.
  11. Until there is no longer an italian running scuderia, it will continue to go this way.
  12. Aww, poor Mount Vernon lost, bigly. Fuck Art Briles and anyone at Mount Vernon that supports this horrible excuse for a human.
  13. If it is, it's a really long game. Like, at some point there has to be a gotcha or haha moment, right? Most performance art has something about it that someone enjoys, does any of this shit excite anyone, other than just laughing at him? Maybe it's for money. Maybe he's somehow conned some potato heads into paying him to drag names through the mud with off the wall shit.
  14. Well I'm glad that the historic race has published a timeline for the weekend.
  15. Michelle Barrientes Vela wishes replacement well, doubles down on sheriff's campaign I'm currently watching the new constable get sworn in and I think swearing in a new chief deputy constable. Looks like they may have kept all the other deputies and reswore them in. God Vela is a fucking retard. You have to know the law (AHAHAHAHHAHA). The county was just waiting for her to fuck up so they could remove her from office, and bam, retard opens her mouth and announces she is running for sheriff.
  16. I have a friend who's wife is a lawyer and he has a little business serving papers because he gets bored shopping in pawn shops all day spending her money. I can tell you, from what he has told me, 1st and 2nd as stated above, are definitely not always true. He has lawyer friends who hire them and they chat about what he is doing and who and why. May not be legal or the way it's supposed to be done, but he has definitely told me stories of stuff and he does, at least sometimes, know #1 and #2.
  17. You sure about that? Just feels to me like he went to Angelo State.
  18. I am being told that the writer of the DMN article was emailed earlier today with what we found. Art Briles is unaware of this situation.
  19. Briles brings BU-heavy staff to small-town Texas for coaching comeback Mount Vernon High School / Staff Directory Briles and Colbert show up in that directory. Hawthorne does not. He is not employed by the district. He's got to be the one in question, I don't think it's ever been fully stated.
  20. https://www.facebook.com/dan.kamrath/about?section=relationship Check out that relationship, Jeff Nellor is Dan Kamrath (Megan Hawthorne nee Kamrath's) brother in law. So the camera guy played for Art, met Megan at Baylor where she was a cheerleader, and followed Art to Italy when he was coaching there and just happens to be making a documentary, working on the side for Art doing a little illegal assistant coaching, and look at that.. his semi-relatives follow him to Mount Vernon. A Sandi Kamrath was class of '85 at Pepin High School, strange our Sandi Nellor went to Pepin and started her career in 1990 according to Linkedin. Well, I'll be. Looks like Sandi Kamrath is Megan Hawthorne's aunt. What a fucking wicked web we weave. I guess we found the 'family' that's in Mount Vernon that caused the boys to move there. Oh yeah, and a coach well known for developing system quarterbacks also happens to live there.
  21. https://longmontobserver.org/lifestyle/at-home-opens-store-in-longmont/ There is an At Home in Tyler, that's the closest, about 100 minutes away.. same as the closest Home Depot, thought I doubt an HR manager would work in a store. Also interesting: Trey Kreikemeier (13) high-fives coach Jeff Nellor next to catcher Trenten Reihl during Thompson Valley’s game Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Constantz Field in Loveland. (Sean Star/Loveland Reporter-Herald) I wonder if the non full time district employee assistant coach is also the dad. Would kind of make sense that Art recruited the kids and hired the daddy.
