  1. This. That potatoes looks quite delicious. And those poppers.
  2. Yup. I get hating to pay directly for.a toll road, it actually shows you what it costs to build and maintain a road, and skim some from the top. I don't get wanting to pay more taxes to maintain a road ypu may never use. That's very altruistic but meh.
  3. Was a fuckin wimmenz that started all this.
  4. Well, to be fair, I think it was the ex wife that rang up the toll. So I really don't see why the ex wife of a DV should get free tolls. That connection is quite flimsy.
  5. Are we going to get a thread for every shitty bbq joint? Fuschak's? Dickey's? Bill Miller?
  6. The one in San Marcos has very good sides. Almost as good as Dickey's.
  7. (knowing full well this won't get answered) But what makes toll roads different? Should you pay sales tax? Property tax? Income tax? Water bill? Electricity? What makes tolls so different than the others (property tax being the one that is most similar, as DV get property tax reduction)?
  8. But that's how they are. They think emotionally and not logically. You say something about Trump, they feel it personally. I don't get it either.
  9. Yeah, about that. Anyways, REK put on a great show.
  10. Ugh, I meant SHR, not JGR.
  11. Man, I'm kind of losing respect for Gene Haas. He REALLY wanted an F1 team and got in bed with the Rich Energy folks which is turning out to just be a f'in disaster. I wonder if they could find another sponsor - maybe one JGR already has in Nascar.
  12. I don't the Rich Energy thing. There's got to be some sort of huge backstory behind this.
  13. That's a pretty poor take. Bottas and Hamilton on lap 4, fighting back and forth. Leclert and Verstappen fighting. Red Bull vs Ferrari. Pretty entertaining race. As always - ignore the top, it's gonna be Mercedes. Look further down, much more exciting.
  14. My boy Suarez gets his first pole of the year. Now let's see if he can turn that into his first cup win.
  15. Got tons of air time for the former sponsor.
  16. Of course all of this makes about as much sense as Rich Energy. There will be good stories written some day about them.
  17. What if, hear me out, a company had 17 positive tests for a foodborne bacteria that can be very serious for pregnant women and people with impaired immune systems in a plant over a period of 2 years but never shut down the plant and continued to ship out product - including to hospitals where presumably it's not just the healthy nurses and doctors eating this product? That should affect the time for incarceration, no?
  18. Worse Things Have Happened to Blue Bell Ice Cream Than a Gross Prank at Walmart I've sounded like a broken record since her video came out about this shit. Where was all the outrage, like from the governor, when they literally killed people? Oh that's right, it's a beloved Texas institution and noone could dare fathom how poorly run it is.
  19. H. Ross Perot, Politician, Business Man and Texan, Dies at 89 From the I didn't actually know they were still alive list.
  20. The Opry is definitely hit and miss. Sometimes, it's current country stars and you'll know everyone singing (obviously only if you listen to country). Other nights, yeah, it can be fairly old. We saw Brett Eldredge (my wife's crush) once night, along with Riders in the Sky (Grammy award winners for Toy Story Woody's Round Up) and some other acts. Next night, we saw Kelsea Ballerini and Charlie Daniels, and other acts.
