  1. Judge delivers win for Sacha Baron Cohen in Roy Moore defamation lawsuit proceedings Moore and his lawyer are gonna waste even more money on a case that is never going to be won by them.
  2. Well, they'll probably be watching.
  3. Every Virgin Voyages sailing is an experience crafted exclusively for Sailors 18 years of age and older.
  4. This. Those ships are full of overweight middle aged women looking to get laid. I would have done the drink card - that's a great deal. It's one of those deals where you really get out of it what you put into it. Edit: And my wife has this strange thing going on. She's fine on the boat but when she gets back on land, for about 10 days she has mal de debarquement where her body thinks she is still on the boat and it's swaying the whole time to try and equilibrate.. even though she's on land. It's on the list of things that bother me, but since she rarely goes on cruises, it just sneaks up.
  5. They gonna get people killed in Miami Gardens.
  6. Grumpy old conservative is grumpy old conservative. Film at 11.
  7. Tilke makes it look so nice. It'll be interesting to see the change from the above video to the actual course.
  8. Rock and hard place. I hate red light cameras but fuck fat Stickland
  9. That good ol republican "humor" strikes again. That's one fucked up canadian.
  10. No way that chick is 18. And of course she is from Florida. That's one fucked up state.
  11. You know, I don't know about that. It may have been part of it, but DOCSIS 3.1 came along which allows for realistic 1Gb on existing docsis plant. Plus GPON technology really got going about that time. They may have given a boost, but they also started deploying at the time the above two technologies became technologically feasible. I think some of it may be what I thought all along - providing a direct to consumer service will destroy a name. Google probably doesn't really want to go down that road. People hate the words Charter, Comcast, Spectrum, Time Warner. Google doesn't want to end up in the same boat as all those MSOs.
  12. Follow up to my MotoGP visit. We had a DD so I rode passenger. We came in 130 to 812 then COTA Blvd to lot F. I think we screwed up and should have come in from the south. COTA Blvd was pretty clogged up at 10:15am. Parking in F was a cinch. They had a pass lane and a cash lane off the Blvd and a dude checking that you had a pass. Of course the crackheads didn't scan the parking pass (that's only happened once in all my visits) but parking was a cinch, we got a nice close spot. Walked over to RV and this is where the new began. Apparently they now require everyone in the RV lot to have a wristband. They either never had them before or we never had to deal with it, but they are $25 each, from what I heard. Got past that hilarity and enjoyed all 4 races. Our RV spot was closer to 11 than in the past, so the view was different, but the view from the little raised platform in RV was still just as good. We sat around just a bit after the MotoAmerica race and there was hardly any traffic to speak of. I took navigation control and we headed our Elroy Road to Jacobson to 812 to 21 and home. The thing I've learned with COTA is - GO THAT WAY. Anything leading back to Austin seems to suck, but head to the boonies and you get moving fast.
  13. Total Wine is by far my favorite. Costco if you know exactly what you want, liquor wise - supposedly their house brand isn't bad, or their house brand wines inside. Specs, least favorite of the 3 (*), but closest so it gets my dollars usually. (*) And Twin Liquor can suck a dick. That place is fucking expensive even compared to my podunk Specs'.
  14. The Marc Marquez show has been cancelled.
  15. Moto3 has started. Beautiful days and looks like a good crowd coming in.
  16. He held it for the required 8 seconds.
  17. I don't think we ever saw this regard covered here. With lack of movement on “constitutional carry” bill, gun rights advocate visits homes of House Speaker Dennis Bonnen, other members Gun nut (literally named McNutt) wasn't pleased with movement on a constitutional carry bill. Gun nut visits Speaker of the House's... house. Speaker wasn't home but son was and so were troopers, already concerned about the McNutt. Gun nut really earned the support of the speaker: Oops. Regard. Way to move the conservation forward. Further reading. Uhm, yea. A few days later, the two were seated near each other at a fundraiser: I have to agree. You crossed a line going near his house. You knew he wasn't there. What were you looking to accomplish? And then this happened: These guys really aren't helping their case.
  18. This Republican Texas lawmaker halted a bill to outlaw abortion. He faces security concerns now, says sheriff. Also, at least Tinderholt is consistent: Compassionate conservatism at work. Also - bill is only created to collect money for Tinderholt and stir up the masses. I don't believe it would ever get past the Supreme Court, even as it's current formed.
  19. WikiLeaks does NOT know where Assange is right now "WikiLeaks does not know where Julian Assange is right now, a WikiLeaks source told CNN." I don't know... maybe have someone break into a UK Government computer and see what it says?
  20. He's been stuck in that building for 7 years. He might not currently be the most mentally stable person. Edit: Like I was saying... He aint all there, anymore.
  21. Shit, Harvard Man beat me to it.
  22. You'd be amazed how many people don't know that renters indirectly pay property tax.
  23. Apparently Fernando is doing some testing at Texas Motor Speedway.
