  1. My early voting location, which also happens to be my normal precinct anyways, had 1 person voting at it this morning and noone in line. I think I was #7 when I voted around 8:15, so they must have had people waiting when they opened at 8am.
  2. Once again glad Guadalupe fixed that - you vote at any precint you want on election day.
  3. PM Johnny Sack
  4. See, that's the type of info we can use because I think the judge races are where we all go potato.
  5. Tahoe aint looking good these days
  6. Pastor of the Second Best Baptist church on the west side of Houston.
  7. I'm waiting on the IRS to pull his tax exempt. Also, he can start paying SS.
  8. Pile of shit yelling at a pile of shit?
  9. So many Cruz hats. Everyone is exciTED to see him. Oh wait, I didn't see a single one.
  10. Yes, and remember the president is a republican, both houses are republican, and for some reason Rafael can't get any bills passed. Weird. If he's this ineffective with both houses and the president, just how bad is he going to be with just 1 house and the president? A vote for ted is a vote wasTED.
  11. I'm not sure that list is complete. Aren't municipal races in Texas non partisan, so you don't really know that they are Libertarian.. they didn't actually run as the nominee for the L party.
  12. Did you ask your pitmaster friends? *duck*
  13. Not to thread shit, but if people were concerned with actual issues, Kim Olson would be packing her boxes to move into her new office in Austin. Alas, Jesus Shot boy will be reelected because R.
  14. Let's just say, aggie (me) being aggie.
  15. I could post my picture I did with the pom squad and cheerleaders at the Tito's tailgate, but it would go over like a ton of brick.
  16. Looks. Still has some pretty bad bumps on the back straigh. About midway on the inside, every car that went there got wobbly.
  17. I agreee with him. Reagan also was anti 2nd amendment.
  18. Beautiful day for a race, great temp, no rain, can't beat it. F4 was exciting. My mute red car driver won. Total cost, $10 tip for bartender. I call it a win. Oh and pro tip, always go against the traffic. There was No one heading towards Elroy, I really never hit the brake till 21. Towards 130... that was a cluster fuck and a half, some of those people are probably still sitting there.
  19. I got into K about 8:50, they parked us on the roads, not the parking spots. It was just about full then and glad I got here early and watched some F3.
  20. Reading comments on COTA's facebook posts, it looks like they still have the same operations issues as always. Parking lot operators are beyond useless, the "upgrade" for the concert was something different than sold, etc. Its amazing to me how poorly run they do things. Ah well, leaving in a couple of hours to catch F3 and F4.
  21. I went off of the comment was 'for football'. That's thrown around so often and its usually quite wrong. Meh. Shit's expensive. A lot of people don't realize how expensive shit really is. Katy ISD built a $70 million dollar stadium.. they have 8 high schools and 77,000 kids. I'd say 2 stadiums and 8 high schools is a pretty good use of resources. Amenities on part with profession teams, like what? You gotta back that one up with some data. Oh my gosh, they have a weight room!?!?!?!
  22. Meh. That takes away a lot of local control. A district should still be able to provide more for its students if they want to. Ie.. if Lake Travis homeowners vote to tax themselves more than the base to do whatever they want, why shouldn't they be able to?
  23. Its so strange how often we see this argument, about stadiums being built for football. I wish it was only for football, but alas our local stadium is still used by soccer, band, track and field, various community events like Relay for Life etc. It seems like a great talking point to say its built 'for football', but really falls apart when one actually gets involved in their local school district and sees all the events that use the stadium. You want to talk about single use, let's talk about baseball and softball stadiums. I really don't know of anything else using those.
  24. Renters don't indirectly property tax? Score!
  25. It does and I'm sure parking is a blast and will continue to be (they've already started limiting the people in N, I think, and putting new ones in a different lot). But you can see the racing line has dried out fairly well.
