You know DK could probably make it 7 innings if he didn’t dick around every 1st inning of every outing.
He may make it 7 today anyway.

lulwat? He was running the ball. If you don't want your qb to get hit, don't treat him like a fullback

Yuli needs to start making them pay more for these walks. The insurance in Game 1 was nice, but we need more.
-
Pearce's pop fly would have been a double off the wall at Fenway and an easy routine out anywhere else.
-
Wow!! kemping ain't easy

Nothing is fucked
-
Nothing to show for it but at least we saw a lot of pitches that inning
-
Marwinning!!

Healthy altuve could have scored on that
-
Damn that was close. He should have just taken the lead out, no way they were going to turn 2.

I have no issues with this, even though yes, fuck Ohio St. More and more players are going to do this going forward. Especially the bowl games. Unless it's in the playoffs. Otherwise, they are glorified scrimmages with no real upside for players who have very high draft stock. Didn't hurt McCaffery at all. Didn't Fournette do the same thing as well? I don't blame them. Bowl games are fucking bullshit and mean zero.
Why play in the playoffs? 1st round guys get an extra signing bonus for winning that?

Is 1.708 OPS good?

Brewers have never won the national league pennant, according to wikipedia.
Seems improbable they'll beat either of the AL superteams, but would be glad to see them knock off LA here and get their first national league title.
I'd much rather their usurping asses go back to the AL. f bud

They needed to get a PH in anyway on the 30th anniversary of Gibson's HR

Lulz, now Buck's going to start asking why he didn't leave Hader in.

I don’t know why they would refuse to use him two days in a row unless he pitched multiple innings the first game. Even if he’s not 100% in his second outing, he would still be a valuable weapon.
That's what they've been saying for quite awhile now, going back to the regular season, but since they didn't send him back out for the 9th, I think he's going to be available tomorrow.

Smoltz seems bothered that the Brewers don't rely on ace starters.
4 minutes ago, Monster said:Counsell is baffling Smoltz with the unconventional way he uses his bullpen. Every game he talks incredulously about the Brewers' starter/reliever situation.
I understand why they do it, I guess, but I really don't like watching it. I think Smoltz feels the same way.
I don't think it's the best way to build a team even given their financial limits but they're about to be up 2-1 in the LCS so what do I know.

Pay attention Buck. It's called a strikeout/throw out double play.

Using Hader when you have a 98% win probability. Lol.
If they're going to refuse to use him 2 days in a row, they were only going to use him in one of Game 4 or Game 5 anyway. The downside is now you can't use him tomorrow if you need him. He's locked into Game 5 now I guess.

AJ needs to shorten his pen.
